Especially around Christmas, must try a dirty martini or cocktail in the King Cole Bar. Missing one star for the experience with... waiting in line but worth the wait Read more

Best hotel bar on the planet. Our bartender Angel was the complete professional. I have been going here for 30 years and it... only gets better. Read more

Nice ambience, quick and friendly service, but average (overpriced) drinks

Just not impressed. Came here for a drink, and it was just ?meh?. Granted - the mural is pretty impressive, unfortunately... neither the drinks nor the bar are. Ordered a Martini - their selection of gin was decidedly mid-range (Hendrik?s, BombaySaphire, Tanqueray). Martini was ok, but would have expected better choice of gin. My wife had a whisky sour, which we had tosend back - as mentioned by previous reviewers it was (unfortunately) a joke: not made with egg white, the cherry was not aMascherano cherry, but instead a cheap neon-pink candied cherry, the drink was served in a WINE GLASS and on a bunch of smallice cubes (instead of a one large one). Will not be returning. Read more

A beautifully decorated bar. Our drinks were very good. We enjoy this bar for drinks and the atmosphere. They served us mixed... nuts with our cocktails. We had to queue up but we don't mind. You have to show your vaxx card to enter. Nat King Cole bar islocated at Two E. 55th St. New York City in the St. Regis Read more

Enjoyed as always! Of our many visits to King Cole Bar, this is first time we had wait to get in! It was like being in line to... ride the first car on a rollercoaster, but in the end you get the privilege of buying $27 drinks (yes, the price has increasedfrom $22, but $17 is going rate for fancy cocktails nearby. You are paying for the atmosphere and mural. The bar nuts continueto rock but now lack the little sourdough slices.) It was Christmastime in NYC and I realized later that many people make anannual pilgrimage this time of year, and it was closed March 2020 to August 2021 (thanks Covid). The service and quality ofcocktails remain impeccable. One sour note: while waiting, a foursome seemed to cut ahead (not wearing masks) and they managedto get seated. We could only guess that they were rich and rude hotel guests who felt entitled, and the hard working staff didtheir best to hold the line and not give away our table while accommodating the foursome. Keep the light on King Cole Bar - weenjoyed our visit and will be back again. Read more

Afternoon is very tasty here. Nice mix of sweet and savory. The clotted cream, jam, and lemon curd with the scones are very... tasty and well presented. Only detraction from the experience was the service. The waiters/waitresses constantly disappeared andwas not around to provide extra hot water for the tea. Read more
