Interesting that they do 2 soups in one bowl (+1) but you can’t choose what you want in the bowl and not able to change the... combo ramen to this, well, fine. The owner definitely know (based on talking to staff) people wanna do so, but he will notwilling to so I won’t give a credit to it (-1). How was the ramen? Average… 3.5 star for it. Incredible food and great portions! Highly recommend the omurice combo, it was less than $20 with a Thai iced tea (which is a... must try if you come visit) and has enough to serve a stomach and a half. My friend and I ordered omurice combo and ramen combo(which came with Thai iced tea and bao bun - also very large portion) and we were stuffed at the end. My across the pond NYC adventures. My focus was to try delicious food. My first stop was Kyuramen in Union Square. I have seen... this place all over my algorithm on all social media platforms. Just from the videos and photos I have seen all over socialmedia made it look delectable. Let’s start with the scenery, besides going on a day it was hot and humid outside, knowingthat the location had air condition. I was eternally grateful. When I went inside it felt like I was in Japan. I made have notbeen to Japan, but I felt that I was there. The location’s level of sanitization and cleanliness was also on point. The staffwas friendly and efficient; the young lady took my best friend, Fiancé and I to our table to the back. I love our table andfelt we had some type of privacy. Now, it is down to the food. In recent videos on platforms in social media they were known fortheir Ramen and the Omurice. Although the ramen was tempting to have, I had to pass it up because I was very hot from thesummery day we were having. It was the three of us. So, it wouldn’t make sense for all of us to order the same thing. So, wedecided to all of us to order something different for each of us to try different dishes. First, the Appetizers. Only myselfand my best friend order something from the appetizers. I ordered the Steam Pork Bao Buns. I order the 2pcs should have order1pc instead of 2pc. It was larger size bao bun to me, comparing to others that I had in the past from other Japanese restaurantsthere were small. The pork in the bao bun fell apart in my mouth. Their food is reasonably price! You can't go wrong with any food of your choosing; everything is full of flavor. Their drinks... like the Amazing Lemonade or their Thai Iced Tea are a must try. They prefer you to make a reservation, being it gets crowded,but they do accommodate you otherwise. Read more
I've been here so many times over the past year and have had a really pleasant time at each visit. This place has the best thai... iced tea, and honestly, this is the restaurant that made me fall in love with thai iced tea. Also this place has Japanese-styledomurice, I got the demi-glazed sauce, and it was so so good. The soft shell crab burger and ramen at this location are also veryyummy. It was pretty crowded on Monday night, we have to wait a while for a seat. This place is amazing, great service, amazing food, and everything is set up in a way where they already anticipate your needs... (servers were attentive, tissues on the table, outlets for your phone to charge, etc). Food was phenomenal, everything came outsuper quick and was very filling.
