Living my greatest mermaid dream. I visited Lamia’s with a date but hope to visit for my next birthday because the ambiance... and decor is one-of-a-kind nautical/ under-the-sea elegance. I would recommend this restaurant to people looking for anexperiential dining experience. I got the Fish Soup, Signature Branzino and Poached Pear for dessert (must try). Everything wassuper fresh and extremely filling. After a long winter day, Lamia’s is the perfect place to refuel with hot comforting dishes. Read more

Unfortunately two stars. Made a reservation prior that it was a birthday event and wanted a spacious table. Once we arrived we... got seated at a small table, our server seemed clueless at first asking 3 times what we ordered. We ordered a lot of food, andonce it started arriving the table space became an issue( instead of receiving a booth ) all our dishes were placed on nearbytables and we had to combine them ourselves. Our waitress disappeared and we got a new server, he was sitting at the bar withdifferent wait staff having lunch and talking about their paychecks, dating life, constantly on their phones, we knew because wewere conveniently seated across from them so we could hear the conversation. Not once anybody came to check on us, we have toswitch to go to the bar and politely ask for new drinks, we made the next table our dirty dishes and empty glasses table.Horrible service. Something that was supposed to be a lovely experience made us think all you can do yourself experience. Worst200$ spend on a restaurant ever. The decor is amazing, and the food is spectacular but definitely will not be coming back. Thestaff is not trained properly on the high standard the restaurant tries to portray. Read more

The atmosphere and ambiance of this space is AWESOME! You feel like you are eating at an underwater restaurant. They had a... generous selection of oysters and the seafood linguine was great. I will definitely be back to show off this neighborhood gem. Read more

A very beautiful spot for a night out. It looks like a family business which makes it more cozy and unique. No matter where you... get seated, you will get a good view;however, not all seats are very private(you may seat somehow close/between other parties). The menu is digital(tablet), and it is very convenient to choose the meal, as you see the pictures. The food is alright. Read more

Ambience is a 10/10. this place so beautiful! Service is okay, we’ve been told that kitchen closes at 9.30pm even tho closing... time is at 11pm (I’m in the hospitality business too, last call is usually 30/45 minutes before closing time) anyway cause ofthat we had no time-frame between appetizers and main courses. Seemed rushed. Overall food is good and would consider this agood experience (that could be easily improved cause this place has a great potential) Read more

I wanted to give this place 3 stars but I can’t because I just had such a great time. We went for brunch… please go. This... isn’t a bad review. Lamia’s fish Market took care of us. The staff is amazing and friendly . The ambience is breathtaking. And the bottomless mimosas were indeed bottomless. Also very tasty if I may add. So why The reluctant four stars if I had such agreat time? The food! I know they aren’t a breakfast place , but I still expect a good breakfast if you offer it . My Frenchtoast was soggy, even though I was drinking and happy they soggy French toast were still hard to ignore. My boyfriend found hisseafood omelette to be small. It was also a bit fishy smelling and chewy. Good seafood should be none of those things. And yesI’m aware I could have made a fuss and sent things back but the bottomless mimosas made everything much better. We just satthere and enjoyed our time. I would definitely go back and give them a second chance. Read more

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Management is very hands on (very good thing) decor is lovely. Booths and high tables. Food is... of good portion and seasoned. The mash potatoes had a lot of butter but overall it wasn’t bad. The drinks are strong andthere’s a variety to choose from. Read more

The restaurant is extremely beautiful. There’s a front seating area called the cove that is tinted in teal lighting and the... seating booths are very intimate. I came to see if it looks like the photos and it does ???? The back room seems to have asubmarine theme and there are several large tables that can accommodate large groups (~10 people). Cocktails are mostlysake/wine based. We ordered too much and had some leftovers to take home ???? I would recommend the squid ink linguine. Theoctopus was extremely tender. Someone had a birthday and the servers came out with bubbles and sparklers ???? Generally a goodexperience. 4 stars because I thought while the service/vibe/food/drinks were all good, nothing was particularly stand out. Read more
