Ledo?s has arrived in NYC and I?m here for it. This Maryland/Virginia based franchise of pizza does thin, square slices of some... of the cheesiest pizza you will get. Their crust is so flavorful, and the sweet marinara sauce sends it over the top. This hasonly been open here since late August, but I?m already in love with it. I have eaten at other locations hundreds of times, andwhile this isn?t anything like NY style pizza, it?s so good. The location is good also - it?s right near the Times Square area.It?s a little bit off the path in what could be considered more sketchy, but the restaurant is bright, vibrant, and surprisinglya huge space! Prices are in line with other locations. Their stalls start at $11 and their larges are around $25. It?s sogood, and I really hope those of you reading this who live in New York will give it a chance as it is consistently anddelicious. Read more

Ordered pepperoni and sausage lunch pizza, chicken wings plain style with bbq and ranch sauce on the side. Ceasar salad, cheesy... garlic bread and fried ravioli. Everything was very very good!!! Wasn't oily or heavy feeling at all. The taste was also notsalty which is such a good thing because usually fast food Like this tastes so salty. I couldn't decide which items I lovedmore. Next time I come back.. I'll be trying the fettuccine Alfredo and a steak and cheese sandwich because people at the nexttable were eating it and it looked so good too. My girlfriend used to work at a Ledo Pizza in Maryland when she was growing up there and she loved Ledo, and when she showed it... to me, I ended up loving it as well! So naturally, now living in NYC, we have been excited since we heard one was opening hereand we HAD to get it on their opening day! Damn, it did not disappoint! We both liked this location even more than thelocations in MD and VA we had tried! It's not your typical NYC pizza, but that's what so great about it! It's somethingdifferent when you're feeling a flakier crust, sweeter sauce, and a provolone cheese instead of mozzarella. They don't haveslices, but the 8" and 14" pizzas are great for one person, and a 14" can be great for 2, especially with a supplementedappetizer! We also got the wings, and they were excellent per usual. On top of that, the staff here is so friendly andwelcoming and you can tell they genuinely care about all of their customers. This new pizza spot is different from your typical traditional NYC pizza, however it is absolutely great tasting! Not sure what... sauce they use but it's fantastic where even the regular pizza is in a league of its own. Not to mention when was the last timeyou been to a pizzeria that had a full bar!? Well Ledo has it, great strong drinks and Jay one of the main guys there wasextremely nice and welcoming. Would definitely return and highly recommend giving this spot a try if you are up for a bit of anadventure from your traditional pizza joint. Read more
