The welcome by Angelina at check in was unsurpassed. She was delightful, kind and extremely helpful. She went out of her way to... get us an early check in/room upgrade. What an excellent way to be welcomed to a new hotel. Carlo at the bar was extremely kind,excellent server and 'berry' funny...a little joke between him and us. Roberto, the concierge, made an excellent restaurantsuggestion and even booked a reservation for us. So very helpful. This hotel is a wonderful property and we will definitely beback. Read more
Came here with my fiance and my pup and had the most amazing time. Room was huge and the bed was super comfy with good quality... sheets. You couldn't hear any noises from outside (I was on the fourth floor facing the street) or from the other guests. I amonly taking one star because my bathroom wasn't super clean when I checked in with various hairs on the shower area from theprevious guest. This place is super pet friendly and that was a huge plus for us. Location wise I would say amazing location, Iwas centric but in a more residential area which I appreciated but you are 2 min walk away from central park and from the shopsat 5th Ave. Read more
I was really disappointed with my experience with Loews Regency. It is mainly due to the cleanliness of the hotel. On our... first night there we noticed there was hair in the bed, no problem... we had the staff change the bedding. Later that nightwhen we went to take a shower, we noticed a clump of hair on the floor near the door. I called the front desk, explained thesituation and they told me my room would be cleaned thoroughly the next day. So when we get back to our room after being goneall day, we go to take a shower and guess what... the same hair is on the floor in the bathroom. So I go to the front desk andexplaint the situation and ask for a manager. The manager send Hazel to come clean the bathroom and guess what... THE HAIR ISNOW BY THE TRASHCAN WHEN SHE LEFT so this means one thing.... y'all dont mop! if the floor was mopped then the hair would begone and also to me means they don't properly clean. This feels more like a fancy motel than a 5 star luxury stay. - 12AM Checkout was delayed for an hour (they took our number and... said they'd let us know but that never happened so we had to keep checking) - Breakfast was a total ripoff, totaled to 100$ foran omelet and an avocado toast, juice and coffee. - They charge 12$ for water - AmEx platinum member welcome amenities weremissing - Our bags were taken from us to be brought up to the room but then given back to us when we were checking in?? We wereso confused - Bathroom door does not close Everything seemed so unorganized, yet extremely pricy and so many hidden fees. Solid hotel - locations a huge plus Could improve lobby appearance - dated carpet (stains) and entrance just didn?t seem very... welcoming Food and service was a solid experience too although could be better compared to other 5 star hotels in the area thatI?ve stayed at Overall, I?d stay again because of the location and relative value. Excellent Experience! The staff welcomed us like family! At reception, Victor and Dwayne were especially helpful, kind, and... thorough in making sure we had a great stay! Also the location of the hotel is perfectly situated near Central Park, MadisonAve, 5th Ave, restaurants, train stations, and shopping! Get your "Chopped Cheese" above 110th, though! Wonderful experience staying at this hotel. Room is nice size for NYC and lovely but small bathroom. Received a treat of... magnolia bakery banana pudding from the staff which was a nice surprise. Room service very good as well, would stay here again.Great location as well. Read more
Stayed here for a wedding. Didn?t get to check into our room until 1am bc of festivities. Upon arriving we realized the AC... didn?t work in the room. At this point we just slept in the sweat box of a room bc after 15 hours of wedding stuff who wants torelocate rooms at that time. In the morning when we went to check out all they offered was to comp our parking. Had no desire toargue. The motel 6 even has working AC. The least they could have done is offer some meaningful compensation other thanparking.. Read more
