Wonderful hip place for Mala dry pot dishes. Really loved the decor and how it's catering this type of cuisine to the broader... audience in New York. Went here with my mother and we had ordered the same Mala dry pot bowl so we assume it was cookedtogether, but the individual components were not distributed evenly (she had thrice the amount of beef I did in her bowl). Thescallion pancake was great, and the dumplings decent. Read more

This place never fails it’s charm and hospitality! ?? The medicinal spicy smell you breath in as soon as you walk in is... priceless! Always very friendly and awesome staff make your day. This homey place is one of my favorite NYC restaurants! Theirdry pots are sooooo good! Make sure to add lotus root in yours! The burst of flavors in their dry pot is unbelievable! It takesyou to a magical place! Other favorites on the menu are scallion pancakes, eggplant with roasted garlic and veggie steameddumplings. I just love how fresh and consistent the food is. The selection of wine and cocktails are very good too. My go tococktail is called Ziwei Star, it’s a lavender based gin cocktail. I was just there last night, can’t wait to go back againvery soon! I’d better go on Resy and make a reservation already! ???????? Read more

My favorite place in NY for hot pot ! I recommend it to everyone who's visiting NY. Love the options and peanut. The scallion... pancakes are great as well. I would say only try mild if you can't handle hot and spicy food ! The hot pots are normally prettyspicy! Mushrooms, taro and cauliflower are my recommendations for vegetarian options Read more

Amazing Sichuan food. Everything was decadent, delicious, and had unique and distinct flavors. The meat portions were generous,... I ended up taking some home. The service was quick and our server was friendly. The space is hyp and cozy, and the backyard isnice, though the tables are on the smaller side. Read more

Came here by Michelin recommendation. Not very impressive honestly. Had medium spicy, can barely taste a bit spicy rather than... pretty salty. The lotus cold dish is too sweet for me personally. Purple rice has boneless dates in it. Lamb dry pot only had afew pieces of meet in it. Others are veggies. I suggest restroom cleanup every few hours. There’re some toilet paper on theground. The dry pot was delicious- this was my first time trying it, and I chose all vegetarian options. These are spices that are... uncommon in other dishes and cuisines so it was a delight to have. The spice level was perfect, it was cooked perfectly. Irecommend adding a variety of mushrooms- they all bring great flavors to the pot. The vibe is cozy and crowded, somewhattypical of Manhattan restaurants. Other dishes seemed to be just ok- I recommend this place only for the dry pot. Read more

The lamb dry pot was delicious. For appetizers, got the scallion pancakes which were great, and the vegetable pan-fried... dumplings which were okay. Fair warning: medium level was pretty spicy, and ended up needing to order the sweet milk as respite. Read more

This place never lets me down. Dry pot style is delicious. They give you enough options for large group or individual meal. Mala... project is using Toast for seamless ordering which also makes large group ordering less chaotic. The drinks served is good.Cocktails are sweet. Decent beer collection too. Only disappoint was their desert. Did not like it. Will return again for theiramazing dry pot. Reservation- they use Resy and also have walk ins. We were a large group and couldn’t get in through Resy anddecided to walk in. They accommodated us happily. Read more
