Amazing service and food. Me and my wife been enjoying hot pot and dry pot for a long time. Ever since we moved back to new york... it was kinda hard to find a good mala spot. However, maybe because it’s widely known and good reputation, we had chance todeliver from the restaurant. Since then, it’s our favorite dry hot pot restaurant in NYC! Read more

The vibe is interesting but the food is amazing. The chili rabbit was a little tough but generally, we loved everything. The dry... pot ingredients are cooked perfectly, the dan dan noodles (although not normally mala) have the perfect texture, the lotus rootwas cooling and sweet. We were very happy leacing here. Finally tried Mala Project Midtown East location and the place did not disappoint. We ordered dan dan noodles, mung bean jelly... appetizer, lamb dry pot and veggie dry pot along with forbidden and white rice. Dry pots were my favorite and this is what Iwill get next time as well. Can skip mung bean jelly. Will be back to try more. Read more

Love this new location. Food quality and the service is the same. More like this ambient setting with the great music selection.... Had cocktails and dry pot. Their dry pot is always so good. Try medium spicy if you can't have too spicy. It's so good! :) Read more

My to go spot for Spicy food and Gentle dessert. I’ve been order from this place so many times during quarantine and it always... lovely. They have purple rice for healthier option. I always get their Mala combo, the portion is shareable. The spicy level, for medium can be a slightly higher than average. So for first time order, try the mild level first. Don’t miss their dessert! It’s gently sweet from red bean but over all are light and refreshing. It’s a good item to calm fire on your tongue:) Read more

4.5 ?? Wonderful, “healthy” mala for a reasonable price. Lots of ingredient selection even for vegetarian mala. I have been... here multiple time and usually get bok choy, lotus, enoki, firm tofu and glass noodle. The appetizers are also very yummy ????will continue coming here. Read more
