A decent place but nothing special. Although some reviewers talk about great service, on this particular day the service was... absent: had to ask for utensils, had to ask for water after the waiter took our food order and the food arrived without evercoming out with water at all! As for food - prices pretty normal but amount definitely lacking. Egg Ratatouille was overspiced! Ambiance: 5/5 Service: 2/5 Food: 3/5 Coffee: 4/5 (Flat White was great!) Read more

Trendy breakfast/brunch spot. It was crowded, and we got our orders to go. I had the cold brew, which was good, not too bitter.... We got some pastries, and the brown butter oatmeal cookie was our favorite! For sandwiches, I had the croissant sandwich and mywife the one with bacon jam. Good spot if you want a selection of pastries and drinks. The sandwiches were good, but I think thepastries were better. Read more

It's busy for a reason. Great coffee, pastries and breakfast options. We went at 9AM on Saturday and it was still pleasant, but... started to pick up as we were leaving. Breakfast sandwich was fantastic and anything but ordinary. Three things to note: 1) Onweekends you need to order a full breakfast to get a seat (not just coffee and pastries) 2) Staff was very energetic andfriendly, but could see during peak times things could get chaotic 3) They now have a liquor license and offer cocktails! Had a great experience here for brunch on a Saturday. We had food around 1:30pm, and our wait time was about ten minutes. There... is outdoor seating available as well. We can recommend the Papas breakfast bowl and the maman breakfast. The assorted pastrydish was a croissant and chocolate croissant, and a choice of anything else for the third pastry. We chose the orea and it wasexcellent, if not on the sweeter side. Easy to recommend, service was solid, though servers seemed a bit overwhelmed at thetime. Read more

Came here with two friends and wanted to secretly surprise one for her birthday . Everything worked out perfectly with a little... help from the staff . Though they don?t normally do this they actually put a candle that I provided in one of the deserts andall of the crew brought it over and sang Happy Birthday . Very sweet . And speaking of sweet we all three had the Nutellabrioche (I think ) it was exquisite ! Light , smooth & not overly rich . All of our meals were wonderful too . The French vibeis alive and well on 3rd Ave in Manhattan . Can?t wait to go back and order other menu items . Thank You Maman for a specialafternoon . Read more

Pretty long wait to get in. There?s no modern reservation system so we had to hang around in the area for about an hour. We were... seated at a beautiful table and ordered the egg ratatouille, the Katie sandwich, the chili raspberry chocolate loaf, and a sideof Potatoes. All of the food except for the chocolate loaf was pretty dry and flavorless. The service was super slow as well. It?s a beautiful establishments but I imagine it?s much better for pastries and coffee rather than meals. Read more

It?s so wonderful to have a legit French bakery in the upper east side. I?ve been here multiple times for takeout pastries and... it?s always been delicious - The croissants or flaky and buttery, The almond croissant is particularly delicious using realalmond paste. So I thought I?d give it a try and dine in for brunch. Place was very busy. Unfortunately the coffee was acidicand not drinkable. The dishes I ordered also fell flat. It seemed like there was only one waiter servicing the outdoors areawhich admittedly can?t be easy. We were given dirty utensils multiple times and had to request clean ones. The kitchen broughtthe wrong order to our table multiple times as well. I ordered a dish with the crispy potatoes - they were soggy and I couldbarely eat my dish. Overall a very disappointing dining experience. BUT - still an excellent bakery - I highly recommend you getthe pastries to go. Read more
