This place has amazing food and the take out is perfect. This is a family business that also has an outpost in Philadelphia. ... Philly folks, come honor this hometown favorite. Stuy town folks this is great eats at great prices and BYOB. Decent indian restaurant! I ordered Chicken Takka Massala (?) I liked it!! But the chicken was quite so dry for me...except for... the chicken, the curry was good. I chose medium spiciness for my curry. Also, I got Mango Lassi,too. I think Lassi taste isdepending on restaurant s. This Mango Lassi was more sweet than sour flavor. But it was good!! I’m a NYC cop who’s favorite lunch time spot is Manhattan Indian Flavor. It’s a good, old-fashioned, family restaurant.... The owners are one of the most warm, friendly, and inviting people you will ever have the pleasure of meeting.They always checkto make sure our food is to our liking, at just the right amount of times. The food is tasteful and reasonably priced. Theatmosphere is nice. Tables and bathrooms are clean. I recommend if you have not already stopped by for lunch or dinner, do so.They close for a short time at 3pm to clean, then reopen a hour or so later. Read more
