Had Dal Makhani, Matar Paneer, Gulab Jamun and Ras Malai. All the items were tasty and the ambience was good. Only thing is that... the name board is not clearly visible on the street. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting New York and looking forIndian food. Read more

I had high hopes from the place, but it came up much low on my expectations. I ordered Samosa chat, daal makhani rice and kheer.... To begin with Samosa chat had bad chic peas and it felt as it was already slimy in taste, means they were not very fresh boiledor soaked. Then with daal makhani and rice I had a similar taste, as if the legumes, daal were too soaked or not fresh. I alsomanaged to save one of my molars as I got. Very hard substance to chew on. Must be a stone or some unground spice. Lastly thekheer, I wish I took something else. Because kheer was overtly sweet. Truly - I won't recommend this place unless you have nowwhere else to be. I paid by credit card, and was charged a 3.5% over and above all. Their printed menu prices are wrong, as Iasked for printed menu, because I could not scan and use their online menu due to no internet. They don't have wifi either tosupport. Read more

The chicken tikka masala and the coconut curry shrimp were amazing. The garlic naan and the samosas were outstanding. 100%... recommended for traditional and delicious Indian food. For reference, we got the “medium” sauces and they weren’t spicy atall. Would recommend to order the spicy ones if you’re into that. Loved this places ?? Read more

Had dinner here. Its a cozy place walking distance from herald sqaure/Macy. We had veg pakora, daal, bbq platter and gula jamun.... The food is tasty, daal was really good. Spice are on higher side for our taate though we asked medium. The service wasattentive. The matter was surprising that we were not shown the bill but was confirmed verbally and then we were asked to pay,so didn't knew what amount of tip included which should be at customer discretion. This was being done with all (saw anothertable customer also astonished) and should be changed, as customer bill should be shown. This was not expected and didn’tlike/understood (rating3.5) Read more
