Really like this place, missing one start as they take off the lunch special and the space is too tight sometimes Food is good,... i like the noodle most. For appetizers the one with tofu is really good. If you have a big party over size of 6 you should makea reservation, as the space can be limited, especially for lunch time. Read more

This place is so low key. Staff was great everybody was nice and friendly. Gave great recommendations of what we should eat... since it was our first time dining with them. The drinks was on point. The atmosphere was welcoming. I would go again I think itwas worth the pay. I wish I had pictures but the salmon was juicy, and the lobster popcorn was good as well it really was atease lol cause it’s a appetizer Read more

I have been a patron at Nare for years and have decided to re-write a review based on Nare today post mandates. The quality of... sushi has remained the same, it has always been great along with the service. My go to is the Jo sushi, it offers a variety ofpieces with a roll of your choice. Toku Jo is also another great option with a bit more flare. This is my go to spot for qualitysushi at a fair price. I’ve brought many family members here who don’t necessarily like sushi, luckily their menu offers avariety of items, their entrees are very good. Also they have a bar and offer cocktails. This place also offers takeout. Thislocation is inside a building so it may not be visible from the street. They have a nice dining area and have seats at thesushi bar as well. Read more

I had amazing time at Nare Sushi in NYC. All foods were deliciously prepared and waitress was very attentive. I especially loved... their sashimi and sushi. Sushi was too notch and is the best sushi you can have in NYC. It was very authentic taste that you maytaste in Japan. I highly recommend this restaurant!!! Read more

We are regular to this restaurant. We decided to have early dinner so waited there until their opening time which is 4:00pm.... When we asked to come in they told us that they will open at 4:15. That was understandable. ( but the sign still says they openat 4:00pm). The food were served extremely late. It took 45min for over cooked yakidori don ( see the picture. I thought therewas seaweed stuck on the piece of chicken but it was all burn like ash) 70min for the Donkatsu ( it was even undercooked. Seethe picture). Meal for 7 people were served with a long time lag bet each other with no explanation from the server. We wereliterally the first group who got the table and we ordered 4 udon, 8 pieces of sushi, 1 donkatsu and 1 yakitori don. Simple! Wewaited forever without any excuse from the server. No manager, no reception person were there. It looks like only 1 server wasin charge for the entire dining hall. The worst part was they already included 20% tip on the bill because we were large groupof 7 people. If they are not capable to operate the restaurant, they shouldn’t accept the people to dine in. It felt like scamto pay for the food & their service. Never going back. Read more

Sashimi dinner was amazing, would highly recommend this hidden gem for the quality of fish they serve. Menu might seem pricey... but it’s worth. Restaurant is inside a complex with other stores. A little hard to find but inside is very quiet & peaceful.Staff is professional. Read more

Great Experience. I went by myself without previous Reservation. Location is a bit hidden in a strange Hotel Entrance. Location... nice but not overwhelming for NYC standards . The food though was great. I had a 5 course Menu including Omasake sushi freshfrom the chef. It was one of the best sushi in a long time. Fish was of great Quality, creations very creative. Definitely wortha dinner. If you can you should sit at the counter. Less comfy chairs but more entertaining. Read more
