Great Italian restaurant in the heart of Hell's Kitchen. Moderately priced with good sized servings. I recommend the eggplant... rollatini as a starter. My two favourites were the gnocchi and shrimp and the spaghetti with braised meatballs. The bread wasseasoned and toasted and perfect for mopping up the pasta sauces. Drop me a comment or a like if you found this helpful. Read more

This was a bit of a pleasant surprise. We were in town for a concert and show and just stumbled upon Nittis. It is pretty... unassuming, but the food and service was excellent. The pasta is handmade daily (or more frequently) and the quality itnoticable. I would definitely go back! Read more

This is a must do when in New York. We were looking for that classic Italian American dining experience when we chose this... establishment. We weren't Disappointed, from the minute we sat down to the minute we left the owner Will gave us the full VIPtreatment. We were also impressed by the quality of the food served to the table absolutely delicious and at an affordableprice. We were only in New York fir a vouple of days but will certainly make this our first choice on our next visit. All thestaff ( including Will) were polite, prompt and well presented. The toilets downstairs were immaculate. Read more

Nittis LOSES STARS for its deceptive pricing policies. The menu prices are already high for what it is (one expects that in... midtown). What one should NEVER expect is for the check to arrive and be charged 25+% ABOVE the menu prices. Nittis does this 3ways: 1) Some of the prices on my check were simply higher than the prices that were printed for those items on the menu. I hadto complain to have the charges reduced before paying the bill. 2) Nittis adds a 20% service charge automatically to allchecks. This is ABOVE the line with the suggested additional gratuity. They just try to sneak it by you. 3) Nittis adds ANOTHER3.5% if you pay by credit card. This highly unusual policy is not disclosed or advertised on the menu. If you don't mindpatronizing a restaurant run by disingenuous scam artists, you'll have a lovely time, but just realize that the prices are muchhigher than what's printed on the menu, and you'll still be well advised to study your bill closely, and be careful not todouble-tip. Who needs that aggravation? Read more

We stumbled upon this place after walking all day. Make sure you have a reservation as it gets pretty tough to get in at least... for dinner. We sat at the bar and had a great time - watching them expertly make these craft cocktails was such a funexperience. The food we ordered was very good. Plan on spending some time here and just enjoying the food, drink and ambience! Read more

It was our first time going to this great spot in Hell's Kitchen and I can see what all of the fuss was about. Will, the... proprietor, has created an atmosphere for Italian food that will leave you full and also a part of the family. The Meatballswere amazing along with the calamari. The lasagna was delicious and the shrimp pesto dish was wonderful as well. Don't forgetthe sangria which was top notch. To top it off, we had the chocolate canolis with fresh fruit which was the icing on theproverbial cake. Needless to say we will definitely be back to this establishment so head to 39th and 9th & experience Nitti's. Read more
