We've been coming here for years, always loved it but hadn't been for quite some time. So we just returned there for lunch... and...it was just as awesome as always! We love sitting at the upstairs sushi bar and getting recos from the sushi chefs. Thistime we were in more of a veggie mode, so only had a couple seafood dishes - the yellowtail jalepeno (our fave), tiradito w/fluke (lovely w/ a nice spicy kick), rock shrimp tempura (yum), then the hearts of palm salad and warm mushroom salad.Everything was so delicious and the service is outstanding. Go! One note, we like this location 10x better than the other onesin NY. Read more

came here for my birthday as treated by the boyfriend. we started off with (half dozen) oysters with 3 different kind of sauces,... the server explained the different kinds but I forget.. regardless, they were very delicious! we then got the spicy tuna andCalifornia rolls, the spicy tuna roll was so good we ordered a second plate (and I'm not a fish person). he had the lobstertempura and I had the black cod miso, again, not a fish person, but since it is its popular dish, I wanted to try it, and it wasso good! the lobster as well. we ended with the donuts, the cinnamon/brown sugar coating were so tasty as well as the vanillaGelato. the boyfriend had also ordered sake and I had the non-alcoholic lychee-mango drink.. I love lychee and mango and thedrink tasted just like each fruit! I don't know how they do it, it was a very refreshing feeling on my tongue. the waitstaff wassplendid, they was very enthusiastic and everytime food was brought out, everything was explained as to what we were eating andhow it was prepared yes, it was a little on the pricey side but definitely worth it! here are pictures everyone else has posted: Read more

I would give this place 10 stars ??out of 5. Do a bit of research before you go. The menu is extensive and has a lot to offer.... Our server Diana knew exactly what she was doing. We just had a list of items we pulled out of some reviews and she narrowed itdown for us. The yellow tail with jalapeño was a great starter. The salmon tataki was our second favorite. The sea bass and thebeef toban was out of the world. Do yourself a favor….. just order all the desserts they have. You absolutely don’t want tomiss them. We just had the most wonderful meal yesterday and we can’t wait to go back. The food is beyond amazing, spectacularand absolutely delicious. The balance of flavor and texture is so well balanced……. we were just blown away. Read more

Let the rich waste their money here! This was bought for us as a gift $250. Please avoid. Honestly if you’re an average... person, there are so many better Japanese restaurants at a reasonable price, with great service. First of all the service forsuch an expensive place was very poor. Arrived on time and had to wait 15 minutes for our table. The bar area was was full withloud pretentious people, trying to out do each other with who can order the most expensive drink. Tried to order the food withno idea of what to order and in what order e.g. starters and mains, asked the waitress for advice she seem flustered andobnoxious. Finally ordered the food after Googling how to order. The food then came out in what ever way they felt fit to serve, main dishes served with Sushi cold dishes. The mains were 20 minutes apart by which time the food was cold. Please save yourmoney and visit a smaller family run place. Spend the money there and help them. Everything is so over priced and tasted verybasic, literally ruined my final evening in New York after a wonderful visit. I will never again be visiting this place andadvise my friends and family to avoid. Final damage $245 and the left over food I gave to a homeless person. Read more

Been to many Nobu restaurants over the years. NYC wins as best spot. I only do the Omakase … it’s an expensive experience... but worth it. I love the demon slayer sake as I find it’s the most balanced. Read more

I love this place. I have been here with 3 friends for Sushi. We have not been disappointed. The menu is great and there is... really a big range of different types of food not limited to standard sushi. The Nobu tries to combine the traditional Maki,Nigiri and Sashimi with additional new style types of Sushi. We tried different things (raw and with tempura). I prefer thesashimi style sushi but the tempura was very nice too. The service was very good and the staff super friendly. We did not have areservation and were able to get a table immediately. I will definitely come back the next time I am in NYC. Read more
