Absolutely great chicken and waffles! Very convenient location to eat at after visiting the cloisters. The waffle was very sweet... but in a way that didn?t ruin the saltiness of the chicken. Everything else my group had was also delicious. Read more

Great concept just poorly executed. Upon our arrival we were met with confusion and where to sit and dine. The staffer at the... front emphasized she didn?t speak English and when we communicated in Spanish she shrugged her shoulders and walked away. Thisestablishment has two vendors preparing food. This gives mall food court vibes with alcohol being offered by one vendor. TheMexican food was not great. The taco was bland and the consomé wasn?t tasty or appetizing. The vibe concept is nice but theyshould hire a hostesses to direct patrons upon their arrival and ensure people aren?t hogging tables and chairs in excess. Read more

I went to Harlem Public on 149 the and Broadway multiple times and tried the wake n bake burger. Also love the beer stone IPA... and lions head over there. The trochee I discovered and loved. I visited the place since 2014. They had epic sandwiches likePulled pork sandwich. In peanut burgers and stuff. I had my first pulled pork sandwich ever over here. That was so good it mademe understand why pork was smuggled in places people were not allowed to eat it lol. I consider this place fancy burger jointthat is affordable. So when I saw the Harlem public inside Northern I wanted to compare the taste and receipt. I decided to tryit. Northern was a food court style place.I figured this out all by my own cause I never knew what was being build when I passedby before and saw the name Harlem public sign on.the glass outside months ago. Harlem public was one of the place I go to whenI'm super #hangry and I mean with an a. When I can't deal with the chance of bad burger I have to eat cause I'm hungry but wasnit good. I get hangry. I may even turn to a lioness out if her den. Cause other times I am a pink lioness walking around withpshycdelic pretty pink flowers ???????????????? of joy all around me . Can't take the chance of bad food so I go to places Itrust like this one. I never been disappointed. And yes the burger was on point like the name I trusted promised me. CashierGnss was super professional fast and so accommodating. I was like #yaaasss #JustLikeIThought!. Modern space, very neighborhoodfriendly space, a bar. In the middle, right on 183 Rd and Broadway. Also a burrito and taco joint in there I haven't tried totalk about. Looks promising. They close at 10 and Harlem public was still opened at the Northern. # There s a stage, familystyles setting and low , high, benches, farm tables, dinning tables and all ways to seat and socialize with yourgroup. #StayCool #StayTheSame #OrBetter #HarlemPublic #WakeNBake #Northern #WashingtonHeights #HamiltonHeig Read more

I dig it. It?s really cute inside, great bartender and strong drinks. Got food from Harlem Public and it was delicious. Cute... little nooks to do work like by the wooden steps or by the windows with fast free wifi. Avg. nyc prices. You go up and orderyourself from any of the stands. Would come back again Read more

Went 3 Saturdays ago for an impromptu brunch. Really cool concept, Harlem Public + La Chula + a center bar with lots of cool... tables to choose from. I had my eye on Harlem Public so I went for 3 different things so I can try and review: Wake N' BakeBurger (was just okay honestly, I was sold on the hype and how photogenic it is, only ate half), the Chicken and Waffles (chicken was just 1 pc and so overcooked and dry, almost burnt and the waffles felt like those ready made sugary ones, I wasquite disappointed), and wings (these were the only ones I'd order again, decent enough, we ate 3 and I took home the rest ofit). I was underwhelmed honestly, felt like I wasted close to $70-80. So much so that I called Fort Washington Public House toplace an order and picked up Truffle Burger on our way back. Sigh. La Chula made up for it. My husband tried their quesadillaand it was actually pretty good. He was so sold he ordered nachos and quesadillas again for delivery the following weekend. Thebar was a one man show but she was pretty nice and gave a generous pour when I ordered the Prosecco. Overall a 3.5 to 4, moreso for the concept and the nice staff we interacted with. Not sure if Harlem Public had an off day for me. I was really hopingfor a great experience. Read more

Very spacious food hall with Lots of creative seating. Right now, only Harlem public is open inside. We ordered the Parmesan... crusted burger, and it is fat and delicious, with a nice crusty sourdough bread with a crunchy Parmesan cheese layer and a veryjuicy burger that drips everywhere!! As an added bonus, you get a very generous serving of freshly fried fries that are cutirregularly and still have their crispy skins on them!! Love the whole experience here! Read more
