A hidden gem in the East Village! Their burgers are phenomenal. The vibes are great and service is quick. Gotta love walking... into some Pop Smoke on the speakers. I went with the Legendary Burger and the Black Truffle burger and split with a friend. Thekimchi mayo is so good and seriously two of the best burgers I’ve had in the city. Solid place! Got the EP for $35 per person which had a good variety of food! important to note you only get one burger with the... EP — so it’s cut in half! The fusion and mix of flavors was fun but the food was a bit on the salty side! The vibes weregood and the service was great! Read more
Incredible food, amazing vibes, and awesome concept. I got the classic prefixe menu with my friend. $48 for the prefixe and... after tax and a 20% tip only $62! Everything was delicious, inventive and the flavors and dishes were super unique. We startedwith the gem salad which had amazing fresh veggies and an incredible unique dressing. We then got the chopped cheese ttoekkbokkiwhich was unbelieveable! I’ve never tasted anything like it, almost like high quality hamburger Mac and cheese. The broccolinihad incredible flavor as well. The soy garlic friend chicken was to die for and it was paired with a wonderful aioli. The honeybutter tater tot’s were definitely a star of the meal, super crispy and the honey butter was decadent. The burger lived up tothe hype and was absolutely unreal. The second half of our meal took a little while to come out (nothing crazy) so they gave usan extra dessert! We got the black sesame crepe brûlée which was super creamy, sweet, crispy and warm. The other dessert waswarm mini glazed donuts paired with a tangy Yuzu sauce. The service was wonderful and the food was absolutely amazing. It’ssuch a great concept and a unique experience for a dinner with a friend or a date! Considering most prefixe menus in NYC thiswas is super affordable and you get a TON of food and variety. You will definitely leave here super full and satisfied. Thevibes are awesome. I kept hearing about the best Burgers and Korean Fried Chicken in NYC at Nowon so I had to try it for myself. Well I wasn't... disappointed. First the decorum is a HipHop dive. They have graffiti style art and dim lighting. I would say it's for hangingout w friends rather than going on a chic date. The music is all classic 80s, 90s NY Hip Hop when I was there. Being a huge fanof music, this was unique and enjoyable. Now on the most important part, the food, It was IMPECCABLE. We had the Lamb Skewers,Spicy Fried Chckn, Soy Ginger Chckn, Brocolini, Classic Burgers and Honey Tater Tots. Everything was excellent!! The food comesout as it gets ready, not all at once. The Fried Chicken was so good I ordered more of both flavors. The portions aren't bigenough to share if you are a big eater. The Burger was sublime as well. I would describe it as a high end Big Mac. Also thesweet Honey Tater tots were unique. In closing, my waitress Jordan was terrific so high marks for service. I would go out of myway to visit them again in the future. Korean-American fusion that’s excellently done. We started with crispy, well cooked Korean fried chicken; sweet and slightly... spicy that makes for a great opener to the main course. The food was so good I was dancing in my seat. Absolutely incredible!! For your first time, I’d recommend one of the two... pre-fixe menus to get a tasting of a bunch of different options. Tater tots with the honey butter were mind-blowing. The“chopped cheese” rice cakes dish was like pasta, the flavors and texture were incredible. The ambiance is also super fun anddown to earth. The legendary burger was easily one of the best burgers I’ve ever had - the kimchi mayo is just the right amount of spicy and... sweet! The tater tots were fun and doughnuts were not too sweet at all. The staff were very attentive and the music wasfantastic! Highly recommended! Read more
