I was waiting for 25 minutes to get an ice latte, it was the first day of the employee so that is ok. The air conditioning is... freezing and makes you want to leave the place. After that we ordered a little portion of cheesecake ($8), and we asked the ladynot to place it in a plastic box, because we would eat it right away and it is not worth to use so much plastic. She didn'tlisten and placed the cheesecake at the plastic box. It was like both employees were out of the world. Finally I ask for thefirst employee if there is a restroom and she says no with the same sleepy/rude vibe that she had making the coffee. It is areally expensive place and you can't even access to a restroom. I wouldn't come back, and I am very sorry cause we love tosupport women businesses (the owner seemed really nice). Read more

Got the croissant breakfast sandwich (was called the morningside sandwich), and another sandwich called the sweet and savory... that had a muffin as the bread. I?m telling you these were two of the best breakfast sandwiches I?ve ever had. Totally differentfrom each other but both were so good. They?ve got a great selection of coffee beans too, and their lattes are real nice. It?s agreat spot. Read more

Great coffee from local roasters with new varieties added constantly. Espresso served with sparkling water on the side, as it... should be, and in cute cups if you order to stay. Really friendly baristas, lovely indoor and outdoor seating and, did I mentionthat it?s connected to a cupcake/cookie/pie/cake spot?! ???? Read more

Beautiful new coffee shop in Harlem- I like It Black opened on March 1st and I sadly took until August to discover their... delicious and delightful coffee Owner Daniel was super polite, accommodating professional and nice. The coffee was DELICIOUS -definitely the best coffee I have had in Harlem. I was envious of the woman behind me who ordered a matcha lemonade that lookedso refreshing. I will be back to try the food which looked delicious- avocado Turkey bacon - I am looking at you- and thestrawberry iced tea Super clean, lots of food and drink options, saw some freshly baked muffins cooking that looked delicious- nice owner- wonderful black owned business to support reasonable prices etc ???????? ???????? ???????? After discovering ILike It Black earlier this week, I had to go back ASAP with my partner to try their food. We were both super impressed by theircoffee- both for the delicious taste and improved focus after- without the negative side effects we typically experience fromdrinking coffee from Starbucks or dunkin etc., I like it Black- has something for everyone, while their drip coffee was perfectblack- they have oat milk and many fruity and refreshing tea and lemonade based drinks on the menu as well. Whether you areserved by the owner Daniel or one of his super delightful baristas (shout out to the amazing Amy) you will be welcomed warmlyand treated with kindness. The atmosphere is good vibes here! And they were nothing but eager to answer all our questions aboutthe menu and beans! Now for the food- which man oh man was so- incredible! You want to know my cure for the Monday- it'ssomehow still a pandemic- blues?!? - a breakfast sandwich made by the owner Daniel. Perspective changing delicious. I HIGHLYrecommend the Uptown Cristo- traditionally on a French toast muffin- I opted for a fresh baked blueberry muffin that was soperfectly grilled - ah I am drooling thinking about when I get to eat this again. I ordered my eggs fried w Read more
