Great food and great service. We had three courses and everything was fantastic. The little store attached with French imports... is adorable. We bought snacks for our hotel room. Definitely recommend! Read more

Solid French restaurant. I was the only one there, but it was an odd time early afternoon so it makes sense. Escargot was great,... as it should be at any French place, and I got the burger with goat cheese and sun-dried tomatoes. It was OK. Meat was a littledry. And the fries weren't great; it almost seemed like they had been reheated. But the servers were nice and accommodating. I'dtry it again. Read more

Great service, but food was terrible. It was cafeteria food. Salad niçoise barely had any greens, the tastiest party of my... salad was the parsley garnish. The chicken were chicken tenders, not chicken breasts. French fries were terrible, some wereburned and some were undercooked. We are guessing they blanched them in duck fat but they didn’t crisp them up in thefryer. This is not a true reflection of French food. Staff was friendly and attentive though. Read more

Excellent service, ambience, and authentic French food. I am European, lived in Nice almost a decade and miss France. The... owner, Armel, was extremely attentive and courteous. Lots of French people hanging out here. The foie gras was delicious, greatpairing with Jurancon, and the fondant was on point! We'll be back! Read more

Classic French dishes served in a chill and relaxing atmosphere. Came here for lunch at their opening time on a weekday. l was... the only person at the restaurant for the first 30 minutes and got a nice bar seat up front. For a French restaurant in Midtown, this seemed like a rarity, but I was glad to enjoy my lunch peacefully. Foie gras plate was a nice start to the meal. Along withthe classic combination of toast, fig, and foie gras, they also had some salad which nicely refreshened my palate before diggingin. On the other hand, the duck breast was unfortunately slightly overcooked. The red wine reduction sauce and the veggies onthe side were good, but not worth its price. I’ve had much better duck breasts at a similar price point, so this was surely adisappointment. Thankfully, the crème brûlée was amazing despite its unassuming presentation. It would’ve been better withmore strawberries, but i was able to finish the meal on a satisfactory note nonetheless. Read more

This place was recommended as romantic... it is quieter than most places. Service was just ok. I had garlic pasta with shrimp... there was no garlic taste, my husband ordered ribeye medium rare and it lacked flavor and was well done Blistered tomatoes wasok appetizer. Read more

I live near an hour away from the Alsace region of France, yet while in New York, my wife requested I find a nice quiet... restaurant to get away from the city roar... and Google suggested here when I asked it to find the same. OCabanon is such a nicelittle french getaway. The cuisine was elegant and just as we expected from the setting. One way I judge the refinement of afrench restaurant is by their crème brûlée - it was classic and perfect. Read more

The burger came with brie cheese I thought was lovely and enjoyed it. I had that with some Stella Artois and it was a lovely... lunch. Young bartender was very professional. Read more
