Service 8/10, price 7.5/10, food 8.5/10. Problem was portion size. Chicken vindaloo and goat curry maybe 5 chunks of meat in... each. These are 19$ dinners everything Ala carte. Also no condiments. Read more

Good and friendly service. The portions are somewhat skimpy. You fill up with the rice and bread. The sauces were very good... making up for the dry meats. Overall, not bad but I would not rush back. Read more

This is one of the best overall Indian in UES when one considers ambience, food and service for a reasonable price. I tried one... of their specials Chicken Angara and was pleasantly surprised by both the flavors and texture. The servers were very polite andservice was fast. After the closing of Ashoka, this one is my go to. Read more

What a hidden gem on the Upper East Side! We were welcomed by Binod who was very friendly and personable. He was very patient in... explaining all the different dishes unfamiliar to us. We started with Malai Kabab--tender succulent chicken, cooked toperfection. This appetizer was a very generous portion as were the Tandoori mixed vegetables. These were tender and flavorfulwhile maintaining the crisp freshness of each individual vegetable. Then we had Aloo Gobi, a potato/cauliflower mix in a tastyyellow sauce with a kick. Our main dish for protein was the Salmon tikka, done just the right amount of time to keep the salmonmoist and tender. It came with a good amount of rice, too. The wines offered by the glass represented truly a great variety ofgrapes and regions, all at a fair price. We will return momentarily if not sooner! Read more

Had dinner this evening at OM Indian Restaurant on the corner of York Ave and 81st Street. The cuisine was excellent – great... ingredients perfectly prepared with large portions at reasonable prices. I had the savory Chicken Tikka, with a side of Raita. The restaurant interior of dark gray & gold is beautiful. A large Taj Mahal beer complemented the ambiance. The staff isattentive & friendly. Go – explore & enjoy! Read more

I haven't been in person but I've ordered delivery many times, this is hands down my favorite indian food in manhattan. The... chicken tikka masala is obviously amazing, and I love the saag paneer and lamb vindaloo as well. Unexpectedly one of my favoritethings on the menu is the basmati rice that comes with entrees, it is spiced with whole spices like cardamom pods and definitelyhas a lot of ghee added, it's amazing and I will happily eat it on its own. I enjoy the samos every time as well. For thebreads, the roti is simple but perfect, and the onion naan is incredible. Love love love this place. Read more
