Great taste and light on stomach. Tres leche was okay-ish. Other items were delicious.

I came to New York for a good meal but this was horrible. I ordered chicken and salchipapas. The chicken was too salty and cold.... The salchipapas were dry like if they had fried them twice. I?m never coming back. Read more

You can't go wrong with Pio Pio, they have about three locations in the city and a few in Queens. The food is consistent. I... ordered the shrimp with yellow rice, avocado slices, sweet plantains, baked chicken and white sangria. The food was veryflavorful and well seasoned, you can taste the saffron, fresh garlic and herbs. The secret is definitely in the sauce! Thechicken is served with an amazing green Peruvian sauce that is finger-licking good. Read more

Good, basic tasty food. Tostadas were exactly what I wanted.

Ive come here at least 4 times and noted inconsistent quality of the chicken. Sometimes it's moist and seems it's freshly... roasted other times it's seem like whole foods sitting under heat lamp for 3 plus hours dried and crusty. At $11 for half achicken I might as well get a whole one from WF for $9 as I know when their schedule 930 am and 330 pm. So disappointed. Read more

It must be difficult for NYC restaurants these days to manage the tension between eat in service and the higher demand of take... out. I enjoyed a dine in dinner here with the classic Juanitas chicken and a side of fried yucca, a useless vegetable (orfruit- no its a tuber so must be vegetable) which was great. I?ve been to all three Pio Pio locations and never beendisappointed with the food. However this location, being small and narrow, involves a lot of traffic along the one aisle withfood prep and delivery heroes. So its hard to say if I?d come back for dine in, as much as I enjoy the food, but I also can?timagine eating that tasty hot fried yucca after 20 minutes on the back of a moped. Read more

This is the best and mean the best Food and service ever. I have been coming to this restaurant before I even had kids. The food... stayed delicious and the service still amazing. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are enjoying your time. As Imentioned, the food is cooked to perfection and delicious. Always fresh and the staff is very attentive. The price is perfectand not expensive for being in Manhattan. Love Pio Pio so much ???? !!!!! Read more

This was my first time trying Peruvian food. I was very impressed. I had the Matador Combo. At first, I was about to order... another selection from the menu, but our waiter told us the Matodor combo is enough food for two. She was definately telling thetruth. It was more than enough for two, and the price was very reasonable. All the food was AMAZING! The Sangria was okay. Ithink it would taste better with a mix of fruit in it. Google gave me directions to the location closest to me. Pio Pio 3 isvery small inside; a bit tight. Very intimate I would say. Since they have 9 locations in all, I would prefer to try anotherlocation that is not so tight. Overall, I had no complaints. I enjoyed myself, and the food was AMAZING! Read more
