The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the place did not have the AC on despite the temperature outside hovering in the... high 80s. I was about to leave when I noticed the two ceiling fans. Not the best, but I was already inside, and the place lookedclean. So I sat down under one of them. I ordered the Lamb Shawarma platter priced at 15 bucks. Reasonable for Murray Hill. Theservice was fast and friendly. A pleasant experience so far. My day changed once I saw what looked like a round piece of toastedwonder bread next to my plate. I pointed at this puff of lukewarm bread and asked in Spanish lo que era? Pita was the reply. Thefact that the staff speaks Spanish speaks volumes. Another look at the menu shows they also serve fish tacos. I thought maybemiddle eastern food was the wrong choice. The meal left little doubt. The Hummus was mid-level at best. The salad was mostlikely prepared someplace else. The meat, while nicely seasoned, was overcooked. I won't be coming back, but should you findyourself inside with a menu in your hand, try the fish tacos or, better yet, leave. Read more

I ordered a Greek Salad with Lamb from here and it was the worst Greek salad I’ve ever had. Mushy tomatoes, 2 tiny pieces of... feta, cold meat, and no dressing. I haven’t tried anything else off the menu but I will not be ordering from this restaurantagain. Read more

Ordered online to pickup. Got the falafel pita with fries combo. It was actually pretty darn good. Excellent falafel! They did... not give me the sauces and I was bummed about that but the falafel was so good that it wasn’t dry. Fries were excellent. WhenI got there they were fulfilling a huge catering order. Word of advice either call in advance to see if they’re busy or justcall ahead and pickup. This way there is no wait. Read more
I gave them an extra star for presentation, but this meal is mostly inedible. I ordered lamb, but it tastes like cheap, gristly,... beef. The rice is oversalted and the hummus tastes sour. I'm not sure if it's spoiled but I'm not chancing it. I'm glad it camewith tabbouleh and pita, that's all i was able to salvage from this plate. Read more
