Well, it is tough to score this place anything other than a 5, even though its hype and the expectations one should have about... it if you are into mixology and adore Meehan?s book like we do, PDT is a Mecca to pray toward for its model of all things sacredto spirits - true spirituality. Service was great, drinks were delicious and well prepared - although a little slower than youwould think they should be, but quality does take longer. Probably don?t need to go back, once was enough, but it wasdefinitely worthwhile going once and being able to enjoy the holy grounds. Read more
A party of two, we showed up without a reservation. Had some delicious Criff Dogs while we waited. The hostess was great with... her communication with me and we were seated at the bar within 45 minutes. Very chill and cool atmosphere once inside. Thedrinks were made to perfection. Read more
This is an awesome place. Love the space and entrance, service was so attentive and friendly, and the drinks were amazing. A... bonus is you can munch on some tots while drinking your cocktail and then grab a hot dog before you leave from Crif Dogs.Absolutely a perfect setup, highly recommend. Read more
You will have to enter via the Hot Dog shop and dial 1 in the phone booth to get in.. fun experience but the host was kinda rude... when I questioned the wait time of 2 hours. Was BS and we got in after 15min.. the wait was worth it as the drinks were all sounique and bartenders were educated, friendly, and professional. Worth the wait! The drinks were amazing and the tater tots we ordered were so tasty. I?d definitely recommend getting here early... because the wait was super long when we came on a Friday night. It ended up taking about 2 hours from when we put our name inuntil we seated, but definitely glad we ended up coming. Read more
Make a reservation if you don't want to wait a long time for a spot at the bar. What a pleasure to have a knowledgeable... bartender who really enjoy his job! The cocktails were perfectly executed, I also enjoyed a VEP Chartreuse! I was surprised howgood were the hotdogs. Read more
Such a fun speakeasy. You have to go to the phone booth of Crif Dog. Dial 1 on the phone booth and someone will get to you. The... hostess was kind enough to accommodate us despite coming an hr early. This was on a Monday evening so it'll probably be hard todo on a weekend. Drinks were amazing! Just talk with the bartender if you're getting overwhelmed by the menu (we sat on thebar). The bartender was awesome as well and gave us good recommendations. The speakeasy is inside of a hot dog place and there?s a telephone booth you have to enter and dial the number 1 and say this... phrase. Once you do that, someone opens the door to let you in. It?s a very cool experience that I enjoyed. The place is supersmall and crowded but it?s all part of the experience. I highly recommend making reservations though because of how busy thisplace is. The drinks were made strong and had a nice floral taste - I ordered a drink that is floral. The bartender was veryfriendly and provided great service. I wanted to visit this place back in September 2021 but reservations were fully booked atthe time so I?m glad I got reservations when I visited NYC in October 2022. I definitely try going here.
