I can't eat chicken anymore so I don't buy chicken products there. However, I am extremely pleased to report that their new and... improved flounder sandwiches are fantastic. I've had two of them since they've made a reappearance on the menu and they blow thedrek McDonald's is selling as a fish sandwich straight out of the water. I occasionally, by which I mean maybe three times ayear will pick up a fillet of fish. They've been around since the flood I enjoyed them as a child and from time to time I willadmit they're nice to have. Not sure whether I will want one more than once a year if they keep this item on the menu atPopeye's. Just saying. The only other item menus I buy here are the red beans and rice and sweet tea. Food is good though at times it's been cold and items forgotten. But on another note, this place is very stingy with BBQ sauce... even when two separate orders are made They actually wanted to charge $.35 for a packer AFTER the fact. I am unsure if thesepackets affect the worker's wages, but to Popeyes managerial and corporate staff: Reach out to Chic-fil-A. They seem to havetheir sauce inventory under control. Read more
