Ordered lunch a week ago for my team from this place. Decent food! Nothing spectacular but they offer fine lunch sandwiches.
If I could rate lower than a 1 I would. I?m in town for business and my friends told me about this place and I was excited to... try it until I saw how unsanitary it was. I watched multiple roaches just in the kitchen area and I got so turned off that Ididn?t even want to eat there anymore. How can you just make peoples food in these conditions? Ordered the Avo Turkey thinking that it would have the turkey breast as a real fresh turkey breast. Turned out to be sliced cold... cuts. When I walked in the vibe wasn?t welcoming at all and the person on the first food counter showed dissatisfaction that acustomer walked into the shop. The sign said friendly but the people who worked in there were UN-friendly. As for the taste iswas ok nothing special, deli sandwiches are tastier and cheaper. I do not recommend this place. It genuinely pains me to write this review, as this was the first time I have ever tried Potbelly. My partner Stephanie and I... placed an order today, 5/19 at about 5pm, for two salads, two soups, and some beverages. While the Loaded Potato Soups andpackaged chips were great, what we actually wanted were the salads, that were $30 out of our $54 ($70 including tip) order.Customer service was great too, but the excuse that the driver forgot the items gets a little redundant. I would have believedthis initially, if it weren't for the huge paper shopping bag that carried the rest of my items, that had more than enough spaceto accommodate the forgotten salads. This makes it less about the driver forgetting the salads, and more about the staff notensuring the items were packaged together before handing over the items to said driver. Mac Experience Didn't try the sandwich because the mac and cheese was $7 and I wanted to try it with toppings. I do like the... idea of adding stuff to it. The chilli was nice but bacon chewy, but mac was smooth and just cheesy. Wouldn't say its the macspot, but maybe I should've got a sandwich, it is a sandwich spot. Read more
My first Potbelly experience is surprisingly good. Surprising because it looks like an average deli shop. The long lunch line... should have been a hint that I would be be getting something tasty. The roast beef sandwich is made to order. Toasted bread,fresh cuts of roast beef, hot pepper relish. I'd go back for more. Read more
