The sandwichs are pretty good. Great atmosphere and chill spot.
Nov. 7, 2019, about 7:45 a.m. This is a good place with freshly prepared food and generally friendly staff. They also offer... "Americano" coffee in 20 ounce cups (the coffee is second only to The District's at Brookfield Place within the building).However, this Pret A Manger may be understaffed (although they appear to have plenty of help). Including this morning, this isthe third time that I have been in a line directly behind one other person being assisted at the counter where you pay (thereare usually several lines) to only have the employee not only turn her back to attend to some other chores after assisting thegentlemen in front of me, but today the employee even turned her back and moved away from the counter to attend to some otherthings without a word to me that she would return momentarily. She could not have missed me and the two other people behind me.She did not say a word but continued to attend to other things while at the same time ignoring me. She even came back to thecounter to place some additional items on her side under the counter - still without a word (and a look on her face of beingbothered and defiance due to the obvious she had several things to do at once. Her look suggested, although she did not look atme directly in the eye, "one can just get into another line"). In the other instances I have referred to herein I was not in ahurry and just joined another line. This morning I had also placed a salad and a breakfast item on the counter while getting mywallet out. In addition to these items I was going to order a pastry and a large Americano coffee because I plan to depart frommy office early today, the reason I had decided to pick up lunch too. My total bill would probably have totaled upwards of$15.00. When I turned again the two men behind me were joining other lines, and I noticed the adjacent line was full almost tothe door. Sometimes you do not need more then friendly staff. We could sit out after closing time. Location wise it is a bit weird in the... pass way under One World Trade Center, but it was convenient for us today. Read more
I like pret, but I guess the food depends on the location. The staff is nice, but the food not so much. The chicken noodle soup... was half full, and the chicken parm wrap was not properly closed or something as first I couldn't open it, and after cutting thecarton, the wrap fell apart inside and was stuck on the carton. Quick service with a lot of healthy options. It gets busy during lunch but you can usually find a seat/table. There are... "bleacher" style seats on the sides of the store that can be utilized if all the tables are taken or you have a bigger group ofpeople with you. Read more
I'm not sure what one of the leaves in my Chicken Caesar was, but it was gross and for 7+ bux it wasn't worth it.. stale... croutons.. overall I score you a 2 because your staff are lovely Read more
Went in to use the restroom lol and walked out with free cookies, crossiants and compliments lol their almond croissants were... delicious and their cookies taste like they have just been taken out of the oven! Thank you store manager :) for the unexpectedact of goodness and making my day. Read more
