Always communicate to your customers- the good news or the bad news! This place lacks elementary understanding of how to handle... their customers. I ordered and paid for regular coffee, and started waiting for my order. Nobody told me that they had run outof regular coffee. So I kept on waiting until a staff member handed me a cappuccino, again without explaining that they gave runout of regular coffee. I refused since I am in dairy- free diet and kept on waiting until finally someone had the brilliant ideato spell it out: we run out of regular coffee and you have to wait until a new batch is being prepared. After a ton offrustration, I was issued a refund and I left with a spoiled morning. Read more

When the manager is around, things are okay. But she is often not out front, and the staff working there now routinely ignores... customers waiting to pay, instead talking amongst themselves and playing with their phones. The food and prices are fine--inline with what this chain charges anywhere--but the SERVICE is TERRIBLE, especially at lunchtime!!! Better off eating at a foodcart in this area or ANY other restaurnt. Read more

As a pret monthly coffee subscriber I?ve be to 15+ pret locations in Manhattan, the working attitude of the male staff at the... counter who?s taking order, is NOT OK. Apparently he doesn?t want to be here, doing everything super slowly with an ?annoyingface?, that?s not what customers deserve to see. Please find your own passion and stop ruin customer?s good day.
