Nice cozy place with friendly service. I tried a salad with grilled chicken. It was fresh although I would augment the recipie... as it was rather too plain tasting. I would advise the chef to replace the chese with feta or include a small basket of crunchyyums to make it perfect. The glass of red cab of their default wine option was of good quality. Read more
The service was great however the food could have been better. I have never had shrimp al ajillo like this before the middle... which I thought was guac turned out be be green colored mash potatoes. The tacos were a bit bland and the cakes tasted storebought not homemade. Not to mention it is pricey for the portions you receive. Read more
Pescado tacos for 19$ were tiny, the frozen fish at Trader Joe?s tastes better and they were seasoned very poorly if it at all.... Incredibly bland. The nachos tasted like something I?d order off of Taco Bell. This place is a huge rip off for the price, I?mactually like really angry and what I wondered just wasted my time again. Just terrible. Pretty solid Mexican food (at least by NYC standards). We?ve eaten here several times now. I?ve had their burritos, enchiladas,... tacos, nachos and guacamole; I always feel like they use quality ingredients and don?t overdo any part of the dishes. Not toomuch oil or salt or spice or processing, just well-prepared food. It?s also usually easy to get a table, and they have a niceoutdoor dining setup. Read more
My friend & I planned to eat a late lunch at a crab leg spot next door. But the weather was so nice I saw the outside seating... this restaurant provided on the corner. So though we googled the crab leg place (next door) and drove to the UWS, the scenicbeautiful outdoor patio drove us to the restaurant. I?m normally not a fan of Mexican food but the food and presentation wasabsolutely amazing. Our server Veronica & another gentlemen (forgot his name) were poised & polite. Excellent food & customer service. Indoor & covered outdoor seating. Had the spicy guac & chips & was fresh & delicious. Also... had the Rancho Fajitas with shrimp. Generous portion & came out nice & hot. This was my second time here & I can't wait to goback for the margaritas! Read more
