So happy for this restaurant to get their first Michelin star. Totally worth it! This place is delicious !! Came here after a... local resident recommended it. Every dish on the menu was brilliant. Their cocktails were on point. Especially the one withvinegar in it. Never expected those flavors. The lobster three way was my favorite. All three preparations were different andthe flavors mindblowing. This place is a bit over priced and with food and drinks for 2 people expect a $150-$200 check. Read more
I came here last night and had the tasting menu. It was incredible, unlike anything I have ever tasted. The everything brioche... was so flavorful and delicious, I savored every bite. The pasta was super tasty also- they shave a generous amount of truffleright at your table! My favorite was probably the lobster 3 ways- it was such a fun presentation and I enjoyed all the differentways it was prepared- fried claws, over sticky fried rice, and just pieces of lobster with a delicious sauce. We also got thecucumber salad- which was not on the tasting menu- but if it is on the regular menu when you come here, it is a must try! Inever knew cucumbers can taste so good! We also had the Pineapple Express cocktail which was so yummy, and strong! Must try!! Ispent over 2 hours here and usually I’m in and out of restaurants in under an hour. It’s a wow. Amazing multi dimensional taste drinks and food! Jeeeez. The chicken sandwich is bot the usual sandwich. It’s... smth new. Smth different. In a good way. This is one of the best tasting meals that you'll find in the city for <$100. It's 5 courses and I was a little worried that I... was going to be hungry at the end of it, but it was plenty of food. There were some long gaps between dishes, but I personallyprefer that when you're paying for a nice meal and are drinking and have good company. It's also hard to tell because I thinkother tables were served quicker than us, and maybe they were just making judgement calls based on each table. Truffle XLB is a yummy and classy twist on soup dumplings with Taiwanese black vinegar! Lobster and spaghetti is glazed in a... miso and garlic sauce it was perfection.
