Ordered the combo gyro for brunch. And I was planning to get lamb chicken over rice for later meal but the chef said if I like... spicy I shall try the masala tikka over rice. The portion of the gyro is really great which I think enough to stuff my stomachtill late afternoon! Also tried a bite of the masala tikka over rice, the spiciness is very but the chicken is really tender andmoist! I'm not a big fan of chicken breast texture and besides Malaysia, I rarely get halal food when I travel out of Kuwait. But this food truck, makes me think of coming back again during my next New York layover! PS : just checked with the chef, theyopened 1030am till 2am. Instead of 24H. Read more

Great portions and pricing compared to the hundreds of other halal carts in Manhattan. Their combo gyro wrap (chicken & lamb) is... only $8 and is HUGE (enough for 2 meals). Their white and hot sauces are tasty, too! Friendly and quick service. They alsoaccept card. Read more

Tried almost all of the carts around the Times Sq. area and this is easily the best. Chicken and rice (see pic) is super tasty,... flavorful chicken, veg perfectly cooked retaining a little crunch, and hot sauce has the right about of flavor as well as heat.Cart workers are friendly and courteous. Highly recommend Royal Grill. Read more

I’ve been here today he gave me very very good for I got fish over rice and he gave me lentils and vegetables added to it and... very good salad. The food is really fresh and healthy, and he has a lot of variety on his menu and he has more than a fewdifferent carts. It’s at the corner of W 44 St and 6th Ave. Read more

Undoubtedly the best food from a cart in NYC. I saw reviews on Yelp and videos on YouTube, but people said it's overated. Nahh... it's not, it's underated. Meat is very soft, rice is perfectly cooked spices are on level. Best experience in NYC from a cart. Read more
