Good food but challenging payment activities in my humble opinion... The last two times I have gone there, the person making... change has given me a $1 bill instead of a $5 bill. Could be an accident but since it's happened twice... When you pay withcredit card, they present a screen with high percent tip options while they stare at you and making your food... First time I ate here I got the bento box. Only six pieces of sushi. The tempura shrimp was crusty and hard and the yellowtail... with scallions just had too big blocks of fish with a. Few scallions smushed on the outside. The seaweed salad it comes withisn?t even really a side so much as a garnish. And it got food poisoning from here. 1:30 am and still sick. Awesome. Read more
Sabi Sushi at The Plaza Food Hall Today I ordered the Caesar salad with grilled tuna for $14.50. The salad was presented very... simply with lettuce, 3 cherry tomatos, and sliced seared tuna. The dressing is given on the side. The dressing is stronglyflavored with wasabi. It will clear out your breathing passages! Overall a fine salad but as always with The Plaza, strongly???? overpriced. The location and set up is nice. Maybe they should just do bubble tea here only because everything else is sub-par. The salmon... teriyaki was bland and their Pho is just all wrong. I've had good Pho and this place makes bad Pho. It was sweet, had the wrongherbs and the chicken had burned grill marks. Ew! I can get better Pho for less. Ramen is decent in a fix, bahn mi is quite good if not authentic. Sushi is passable. A little too much all things for all... people, but serviceable for a quick lunch. Read more
My first experience here I ordered the salmon teriyaki and they were out of brown rice and then when I finally sat down to eat... my food at work I realized I was given chicken teriyaki- which I do not eat for dietary reasons. My ticket clearly stated salmonand I was charged extra for it. Won't be returning. Read more
I actually fairly enjoyed my sushi (Rock n Roll) and thought it was pretty good for take-out sushi. Maybe their sushi is just... better. Very quick service and super casual. Will be on my list of places to get take-out sushi in the future Read more
