You will... begin to feel more of this unity that we all have been searching for, an environment that is filled with diversity and joy.People sharing laughter and exchanging conversation with one another. Meeting strangers that have similar interest and then overa smoke of hookah and a few drinks more chatters. That leads toward long lasting bonds. From all corners of NYC. Even from outof state after folks have been given this explosive information upon arrival to NYC. Asking questions like What?s a great placeto go hang out and enjoy the night life of NYC? Answers a place called Sahara East in the LES of Manhattan. Coming from aPhiladelphian- that happen to have gone to College In NYC a school called ?The New School?. First time here was over ten years ago and it feels like the first time every time. it?s so vibrant and the atmosphere is... impeccable. Sahara has the best food, best hookah and the best service in nyc. Thank you Sahara for existing, and being good tome and my people. Read more
My boyfriend and I came here last Friday night/Saturday morning. Such a great atmosphere. Our waitress was so attentive and... super nice. The food, music and hookah were great. Definitely will be my new hookah spot! Read more
Arrived around 10:30 on a Wednesday night and stayed until 2 just talking because the vibe is so easy. Hookah was very good... quality but the service is upsettingly slow. Everything I had to go find the server to ask for - water, if we can order, if wecan have the check and then to give the check. Wasn?t a busy night either. We ordered food, tea and hookah. High quality hummuschicken and roasted vegetables. I wouldn?t order the mint tea again though. I wouldn?t order anything again actually except forhookah just because the service is so slow. The owner is very nice & attentive Drinks 10/10 but the food Omg it was delicious!!! Hookah and in the back they let you connect... your phone to play your own music. 4 stars because it?s only 1 bathroom for the entire restaurant Read more
Great ambience and atmosphere. Very nice decor inside. Good hookah spot! Great staff that were courteous and attentive. Great... music playing in the background. Food was good. Drinks were alright... not my favorite. I didn't enjoy the sangria. Only oneco ed bathroom... there should be at least 2... Overall Highly recommend for a great time to lounge with food, drinks & hookah. Read more
