Chic cafè in the UES. Went here to try some yummy pastries and it was amazing. The almond croissant and linzer tart were very... good. I also love their matcha latte as well. Great spot for small bites and coffee. Highly recommend. Read more

Food was generally pretty good. I do have one issue. My wife wanted avocado toast and on top of the avocado toast comes hard... boiled eggs hard-boiled egg is here sliced and there was a green tinge with a yellow yolk meets the egg white. This is generallyan indication of it just a little bit of over cooking and I have to do too much you get the sulfur smell. They should know howto cook hard boiled eggs. Everything else was fine oh my wife doesn't eat the eggs she gave them to me. Read more

Discreet bougie modern cafe and restaurant attached to lobby of Sotheby?s HQ. Wonderful and extra-chocolately hot chocolate, and... good service. Definitely recommend, would like to try more on the menu. No street level access. Read more

Latte and a plain black coffee were delicious. The restaurant has an upscale vibe but it did not feel charming or memorable. I... ordered the Nordico sandwich, which was tiny and disappointing. It was pre-prepared and edible, but not tasty or what I wouldhave expected. I felt like I could have gotten the same at Starbucks. The Sant Ambroeus dessert was very good. All in all, lunch cost $70 with tip and seems comparable to NYC prices but not to my standards. Read more

Very classy little coffee bar settled in the lower area of sotheby's! Tons of windows to really get the natural light in! Feels... like an Italian bistro when you step in! Staff is friendly and the espresso creations are lovely. Pictured is the marocchino:Espresso with a little bit of thick hot chocolate, foamed milk and cocoa powder! Really a delicious confection! The pretzelcroissants and various baked selections also look stunning. Read more

I bought their plain croissant and turned it into an egg croissant sandwich at home. I wish I hadn't. The croissant itself had a... slight fruity taste (still not sure what it is.... Felt a bit sweet and citrusy?) So didn't go well with the bacon and eggs Iput in it. But that's just my fault. The croissant itself was great on its own. As a person on a quest to find the bestcroissant in town, I would say it's in top 10 but not the best. This shop seemed to focus much more on the actual coffee andother foods, so that makes sense! I would love to go back to try their coffee - especially the one with espresso and hotchocolate! Read more
