Amazing food and an amazing experience. Service was fantastic with the waiter coming by to explain a little background about the... dishes and ingredients, as well as offer recommendations on how best to eat them (with the side servings of seasonings).Ingredients were fresh, seasonal, and cooked to perfection, with the portion sizes being just right over the course of the fullomakase. Standouts were the tempura uni wrapped in shiso leaf, scallop, and the watermelon dessert soup that played perfectlyagainst the hot NY summer weather. The tempura here is as good as the best we've had in Japan. The tempura batter is very light and the individual dishes come out... perfectly cooked and not oily at all. All the ingredients are super fresh and you can definitely taste the quality. The serviceis also so personal and attentive. Ari-san did her best to make everyone feel like they were guests at her house, and explainedevery dish in great detail. Amazing meal. I thought most of the items were really tasty. My favorites were the appetizer plate, chrysanthemum leaf, whiting,... and dessert.
