Mixed feelings about the food. Had higher expectations for the bourbon and shake stack. The mushroom patty was a redeeming... factor though. The curly fries were pretty good, but not really worth the price. The milk shake was far too sweet, we ended upchucking out after trying to finish half of it (and we rarely waste food so ????) The food was lovely, but the wait was horrendous! We arrived at 12:30, queued for 15 minutes and spent a further 30 waiting for... our food. By the time it was ready, we were ravenous. They also ran out of buns while we were there, so there was a backlog oforders while they waited for delivery. A really convenient place to eat if you are visiting the national history museum, butdon't expect quick service! Read more
Waited more than 30 mins for couple sandwich which seems to be so hyped. I remember the original shake shack at Madison SQ park... when they started, it was very tasty. Sadly not any more. It was my first time visiting a shake shack. The woman helping me (Vanessa M) was so helpful. She answered all my questions... about the menu options and was so friendly and kind (some of the other employees were talking and seemed like they didn't wantto be bothered). Vanessa M made sure I was happy with my order and that everything was to my liking. I wish that staff at otherfast food restaurants were as nice as Vanessa M was to me. Vanessa, thank you for such a wonderful experience. The burgers andshakes were delicious and I absolutely will be back! Read more
