Ordered on the app for delivery at 1:13pm (their estimate). Order never came. Multiple uber eats delivery drivers cancelled as... they were waiting so long. Order in process finally disappeared from the app as I assume it had been too long inactive as it hadbeen one hour since I ordered. So nothing could be tracked since it went into my ?order history?. There was still a deliveryperson attached to the order and they called me to tell me the restaurant said they did not have my order and if I had alreadyreceived it. I finally went myself to the store to figure out what was going on and the pick up window was thoroughly ignoredthe whole time I stood there. So no resolution and out $50. Read more
This Shake Shack is in a high-traffic area next to Columbia University. The staff is unhelpful. If you order online, go inside... to pick it up. They?ll just stare at you at the window and never come over. I hear management demeaning the employees, so it?sno wonder the service sucks. My food has been cold multiple times after arriving early to pick up an online order. Read more
The employees here are the most disrespectful I have ever come across. I'm waiting for five minutes for the cashier to count... quarters while trying to place my order. We then place our order and pay, and they completely forget to make it. We waited 30minutes before asking what happened, only to be told "the order never went through". Instead of offering us a refund or to makeour food, we're ignored completely. I then wrote customer service through the website and all they could do is offer a refundand a $5 off $20 coupon. Service was so so. Much better the other times I've gone but hey ???????????. The burgers were alright. Needed something to cure... the burger craving without having to go too far. **Update** have to say, Shake Shake's customer service seems legit. Theyreached out regarding my service, explained to them what happened and when. Said they'll reach out to the locations management.So I'm hoping for the best. Read more
Quick service and nice staff, the place has few tables to eat in. Not much to say, tasty burguer good location , in front of... Columbia univ. They can do it better wth de french fries. Read more
With it's close proximity to Columbia University, the 1 train, and 3 MTA bus lines there is a lot of visitors at this location.... The food as always is good. Read more
Love this branch! Really good burgers. Tried the beef ones and the hot honey chicken. Hot honey chicken was quite spicy, so ask... for less habanero sauce if you can?t take the spice. Remember to order in advance on the app and choose ?inside collection? soyou don?t have to wait (don?t choose window collection as the system is not very accurate and you might end up waiting for along time while your burger is sitting inside). I love all Shake Shack sandwiches, just hope they didn't spit in mine after voicing my displeasure. I waited more than 20min for... my order. I got nothing but blank stares when I asked about my missing meal. I witnessed horseplay in the back, one workerriding piggyback on another who was carrying a tray of food. When I eventually asked a third worker about my sandwich, she saidsomeone else must've picked it up. Hmmm, false! The entire 20+ min I had been waiting patiently at the pickup counter, I neverheard my name nor order called. It was 3:22p, not a lunch nor dinner rush. Never a good excuse not to make food in a timely inmanner and never good to gaslight/lie to a customer. Read more
