Sofia Wine Bar is one of my favorite places in NYC. It was my go to for first dates back in the day when I was still single and... is actually where I met my now husband on our first blind date. We still go back every single year on the anniversary of ourfirst date. The food, the wine and the staff are all absolutely outstanding. When my husband and I decided to elope this year, Iimmediately emailed the owner Leo who put me in touch with the Manager Freddy. Freddy went out of his way to make sure we had atable to celebrate our wedding dinner with our two best friends (who also had their first date at Sofia’s). Freddy went aboveand beyond to make my wedding dinner so special. My husband and I love Sofia’s, a place that will forever be so special to us.The food is phenomenal, and you legit cannot go wrong ordering anything on their menu. Cannot recommend this place enough. Great service, first of all. The burrata pizza was delicious. They also accommodated our request to change the hot honey pizza... to a red sauce vs. white base. Interiors are lovely. Waiter gave us extra wine. The wine selection with pear and apricotundertones was topnotch! Read more
Went here with a couple of friends to catch up. Had a few bottles of Red, all blends and they were delicious. The pizzas and... small plate we tried were excellent, especially the meatballs! I heard only one person knows the recipe lol. Very cozy spot, agood place to go on a date. Read more

My favorite neighborhood place. I love stopping here for a last-minute weeknight dinner, a planned date night, a large group... event, dinner with friends, and everything in between. The food and wine are phenomenal (my favorite is the Margherita pizzaand gnocchi), but it’s the service that makes it everything. Luca, Freddy and Lucky are so so welcoming and warm. The food and wine is absolutely delicious! My fiancé and I had several date nights here and loved it soo much that we had our... small intimate wedding dinner here!! The owner Thomas was absolutely incredible during the preparation! Owners and staff thathelped were extremely accommodating and friendly towards our family!
