This place has really good food, music, and ambiance. Right next to Hudson yard and is a great place to get some drinks and get... some food. I really like the black octopus and the message behind the chef is an amazing cause. Overall 8/10 Read more

Fun place for a classic Spanish weekend brunch! Dishes were very conducive to sharing and the 5 plates shown was the perfect... amount for 3 people. My least favorite part about this experience was the table! It was cool looking but definitely not suitedfor the party of 5 we were - made it hard to have a group conversation & share food items! I had been interested about coming to the Mercado since they opened up and we finally visited it a few daysss ago... First,... there's so much to eat and to do here that it'll definitely amaze you, but I'm so glad we chose the Spanish Diner... We noticedmost, if not all, employees speak Spanish, which makes it more interesting cause this is the Mercado Little Spain. Our waiter, whose name I don?t remember but he is Uruguayan, was very patient with us and soooooo soooo friendly. After examining the menufor like 20 minutes, we chose to share the Tuna Empanadas for appetizer, I chose the Canelones as my entree and my bf choseChorizo Macarrones. The Tuna empanadas blew our mindsss!!!! Wooooooowwwwww, I never thought of having empanadas filled withtuna, that's not a thing where I come from... but they were one of the most delicious empanadas I've ever had!!!! Definitely amust!!!!!!! We ended up sharing the Canelones & Macarrones, but the canelones were my favorite!!! They were filled withchicken, pork and foie grass and bathed in a bechamel sauce that was on point!!! The chorizo macarones were good too, in myopinion the chorizo was strong tasted and I wouldn't be able to eat a whole plate with it, I had like 3 pieces of chorizo andthat was more than enough, the pasta that came with it was very good tho'. I would definitely love to be back and try moreitems from their fantastic menu!! The ambiance was great, and the vibes were super cool, the people that surrounded us weresuper friendly, tables around were smiling at us, some girls even came up to us to ask for our plates names, it was a down toearth cool people experience. It?s very rare to have these kind of interactions in a NYC restaurant, at least to me, and I lovedhow cool everything and everyone was. Read more

Ok place, but I would check the market nearby. Food isn?t healthy, soaked in oil, we took two omelets- retuned one because it... was too fat. They took it off the bill, which was nice, but I would recommend servers to guide people through the menu. It washeaviest breakfast I had in ages. Cheesecake was delicious but I don?t remember it to be Spanish dish. Night time I supposemenu is better. Read more

Came twice. Once for dinner, once for breakfast. Maybe I chooses wrong food, but the only thing I liked was cheesecake (which... isn?t really Spanish food) Service is ok, food was soaked in oil, would not recommend omelets. They have removed 1 dish from thebill, which was nice. But overall wouldn?t recommend it for breakfast. During the dinner the ambiance is nice. Check out themarket next door. Read more
