This place has really good food, music, and ambiance. Right next to Hudson yard and is a great place to get some drinks and get... some food. I really like the black octopus and the message behind the chef is an amazing cause. Overall 8/10 Read more

Fun place for a classic Spanish weekend brunch! Dishes were very conducive to sharing and the 5 plates shown was the perfect... amount for 3 people. My least favorite part about this experience was the table! It was cool looking but definitely not suitedfor the party of 5 we were - made it hard to have a group conversation & share food items! I had been interested about coming to the Mercado since they opened up and we finally visited it a few daysss ago... First,... there's so much to eat and to do here that it'll definitely amaze you, but I'm so glad we chose the Spanish Diner... We noticedmost, if not all, employees speak Spanish, which makes it more interesting cause this is the Mercado Little Spain. Our waiter, whose name I don?t remember but he is Uruguayan, was very patient with us and soooooo soooo friendly. After examining the menufor like 20 minutes, we chose to share the Tuna Empanadas for appetizer, I chose the Canelones as my entree and my bf choseChorizo Macarrones. The Tuna empanadas blew our mindsss!!!! Wooooooowwwwww, I never thought of having empanadas filled withtuna, that's not a thing where I come from... but they were one of the most delicious empanadas I've ever had!!!! Definitely amust!!!!!!! We ended up sharing the Canelones & Macarrones, but the canelones were my favorite!!! They were filled withchicken, pork and foie grass and bathed in a bechamel sauce that was on point!!! The chorizo macarones were good too, in myopinion the chorizo was strong tasted and I wouldn't be able to eat a whole plate with it, I had like 3 pieces of chorizo andthat was more than enough, the pasta that came with it was very good tho'. I would definitely love to be back and try moreitems from their fantastic menu!! The ambiance was great, and the vibes were super cool, the people that surrounded us weresuper friendly, tables around were smiling at us, some girls even came up to us to ask for our plates names, it was a down toearth cool people experience. It?s very rare to have these kind of interactions in a NYC restaurant, at least to me, and I lovedhow cool everything and everyone was. Read more

Ok place, but I would check the market nearby. Food isn?t healthy, soaked in oil, we took two omelets- retuned one because it... was too fat. They took it off the bill, which was nice, but I would recommend servers to guide people through the menu. It washeaviest breakfast I had in ages. Cheesecake was delicious but I don?t remember it to be Spanish dish. Night time I supposemenu is better. Read more

Came twice. Once for dinner, once for breakfast. Maybe I chooses wrong food, but the only thing I liked was cheesecake (which... isn?t really Spanish food) Service is ok, food was soaked in oil, would not recommend omelets. They have removed 1 dish from thebill, which was nice. But overall wouldn?t recommend it for breakfast. During the dinner the ambiance is nice. Check out themarket next door. Read more

Beautifully designed restaurant. They have captured Spain in a bottle and presented it at Spanish Diner. Reasonably priced for... the area. The service was quick and food was delicious. If you love gazpacho as much as I do definitely order the appetizer. Sogarlicky and the croutons had the perfect crunch. Read more

Food and service: the quality of the food is good. The problem with this place is the quantity-price ratio. For example, we... ordered the boquerones, and we had exactly 5 boquerones on a ridiculous and over-the-top bed of chips. The final price isn't toobad if you go on a Wednesday as they have 50% off bottles of wine. That's definitely a great deal. Atmosphere: it is aboisterous place, and it isn't easy to have a relaxed and relaxed conversation. It seems that you are in an industrialwarehouse, which detracts from the warmth of the environment. Staff: We were lucky that our waitress was very friendly. She wasvery attentive at all times and made good recommendations. Probability of returning: 70%. As long as they have deals like theone on Wednesday or something similar. Read more

Great little place to hangout and indulge in authentic Spanish food. The diner serves breakfast all day and while the mercado... may be crowded there is plenty of space here. Food and Drinks are from Little Spain. Plenty of screens to watch. Read more
