Honestly. Mediocre. It's just hype. The location is quant. Love the home and authentic feel to it. The broth is bland and had to... use alot of Chilli oil to try and bring out the flavor. The soup dumplings were good but taste like other dim sum places. Theseating is limited and can maybe fit 15/16 at most at one time. You'll have to get a number and wait outside. If you speakCantonese, you can cut the line ???? I get it. The location is cash only. It looks like it's also BYOB. Regular drinks aren'tover priced. The price overall isn't too bad and not city competitive like most places. Read more

Beef pancake was so delicious. The beef was so flavorful and the crust was crunchy. The dumplings in the spicy oil was yummy... too. I?m not a huge fan of thick noodles but my parents loved the soup. They really liked the noodles and beef broth. Read more

Tender brisket and crispy pancake pork burger. The friendly service was great as well. I took one star off because the noodles... was not as spicy and the burger could have used more pork. Nevertheless, it was a good hole in the wall at Chinatown :) Also,it is cash only. Read more

We loved this place. It is very small and cash only. If they don?t have a table ready they have you wait outside and order prior... to your table being ready then seat you once the table is available. We ordered the big chicken tray, soup dumplings, and thescallion pork chili dumplings. Everything was very tasty & perfect to share. The big chicken was falling off the bone & the flatnoodles were cooked perfectly. Really loved the chili sauce the pork dumplings were in just the slightest spice (I could havehad more spice but extremely tasty) Read more

The dumplings were amazing but the SPICY BIG TRAY CHICKEN is a must order. Chicken the falls off the bone, succulent noodles,... great potatoes and an amazing very flavorful broth. Small establishment nestled in Chinatown. Added bonus, bring your ownalcohol. Read more

Hole in the wall well-known for their big tray chicken. Very limited seating so takeout is recommended. I ended up getting some... beef noodles to go for lunch. Food came fast and tasted great. The broth was flavorful, noodles well prepared! And the wholemeal was happy for your belly and your wallet. Read more

This rating for Spicy Village is entirely attributed to their famed spicy big tray chicken, which was plentiful, perfectly... flavored, juicy and delicious. The hand pulled noodles were good although the portion could've been bigger for the two ofus. The dine-in experience however, was horrendous. We waited an hour to be seated (arrived @ 6PM on a Saturday), ate with ourjackets on as the door kept opening, and the worst part was the people waiting in line inside were pressed against our table, breathing over us as we ate. On the plus side, the service was friendly. But just do yourself a favor and get takeout. Read more
