We tried their $72 fixed menu. Everything was excellent. The service was so nice, quick, and professional. We did have a to wait... for a table, but the waiting system was pretty well-designed and the waiting time was not bad at all. Tips were included, whichwas a huge surprise! Got the Nazawa Trust Me menu prix fixe choice and damn was it worth it. So very good, each fish was deliciously fresh, and had... the consistency of butter where it just melts in your mouth beautifully with all the flavors. Would highly recommend. Came on aSaturday around 2 pm, and was able to find a table right away for a party of two. On top of it, they have a no tipping policy. Read more
Just like my LA experience, it was a very decadent meal (although it's more expensive here in NY). Very fresh as expected.... Ordered Nozawa Trust Me for pick-up during lunch time. Would've been better tho if they added more soy sauce, but I guess it'supon request. I will be back anyway, for dine-in next time. Read more
Fabulous. What makes Sugarfish such a standout is the rice. That might sound odd, but the rice is cooked and seasoned perfectly.... Every sauce put on every piece is thoughtful and delicious. Cool concept for a sushi meal! You choose your menu type and get served (rather quickly). Not that many combos to pick from, but... adjustments could be made. We enjoyed every dish - ingredients were super fresh. Note that most menu items are either Nigiri orRolls. Reservations are not allowed, but it moves rather quickly, so even if you come in rush hour, it quite alright. Read more
Such good service!! The attentiveness of the server is ????????. Forgot to ask his name otherwise I would love to give a... shout-out haha. I didn?t need to mention anything, they just know. I had the omakase style ?Trust me lite? and a lobster handroll. Enough if you are nog a big eater, and the taste is great as well. As far as the interior, cosy dark set up. All good fora date night. Was absolutely disappointed. 1) our hostess somehow got our order wrong. We said we both wanted the 'don't think just eat menu.'... How do you mess up and give us different sets? 2) server somehow managed to give us the wrong dishes on top of that 3) too muchvinegar and texture was slimy. Fish did not feel fresh. All the fish tasted the same. Could have gotten this quality at a $15dollar sushi restaurant. 4) felt very rushed eating. They served us so many pieces on each plate and would serve the next oneautomatically. No time to digest. Check out Sushi Nakazawa and Sushi Yasuda for infinitely better service and taste. Read more
