My family and I spent an absolutely magical evening here for my mom's 60th birthday. We came in with high expectations and this... really blew them out of the water. My mom is a chef, and very hard to impress, so it was a really tall order to find somethingthat fit such a momentous occasion. This started perfect and then somehow kept improving. Every course was even more fresh andflavorful than the last, the staff was warm and inviting, and the intimate setting really made for a uniquely specialexperience. The sushi was amazing, the setting was off the chain. You felt like you are in on some secret that nobody else in the entire... city knows. This small hidden space, tucked away in the Upper West Side. With just 12 chef counter seats, it?s super intimate.The wait staff are amazing and hyper focused on delivering an amazing experience. Sushi was delicious with a wide variety of flavors throughout the 15 course omakase. I never liked it uni (even after having... tried it 6 times at different restaurants). However, the waitress convinced me to try their uni. I tried it and surprisingly, Iloved it! It really does matter where you go for uni. The staff where friendly with very attentive service. My water glass wasnever empty for more then a minute. You should definitely check this place out if you love omakase. Read more

If you have to choose one omakase to invite your friends, definitely this one. After I tried over 20 omakase on Manhattan. This... one is the most fancy and delicious one. Rich in flavors. 80% courses is stunning! The upper west one is better than the uppereast one. Because the chef/owner is in this one. At other omakase, you are not full and want to add some courses, but at thisone, you can be full. It really worth the price. ?????? Read more
