Sushi of gari has their own style of presenting foods or using various kinds of ingredients which escalates the quality ofthe dishes. Every fishes are so fresh, it gives you a big satisfaction when it gets into your mouth. This tribeca location isthe most recently renovated one, so that’s the other fun part to visit. This was a small busy sushi restaurant- I was quite surprised that the sushi omakase was generally bland and not memorable. The... omakase consists of 12 prices of sushi - and if you’re sitting in general dining, and not at the sushi counter, it comes out 4pieces at a time. The dishes just fell flat for the price - even the rice was cold by the time the dishes made their way to thetable. The different tuna pieces were the best. Uni is included in the omakase. In a city with so many omakase options, this onewas not memorable. The service was attentive, but all business. For the name and price, I expected better. Amazing omakase! This location never disappoints me and tastes amazing every time I go. The manager Jenny is always attentive... and goes out of her way to accommodate us since we have a baby. The staff is always nice. Chef koichiro and chef Peng are bothamazing. My favorite is the tuna with tofu paste and chili sauce. Read more
Had the privilege is enjoying this amazing Omakase. Each piece was perfectly prepared and presented. We especially loved the... medium fatty tuna. The way it melted in your mouth leaving this amazing umami flavor left me craving for seconds. Dessert was ared bean fish also excellent. Read more
The Omakase was delicious. We had a wonderful time at the sushi bar with the chef. The service was excellent, every time our tea... was almost empty the waiter was there to fill us up. When you make reservations let them know its for Omakase, it is timed at2hrs. They have some unique pieces created by the chefs here. Will come back for sure! Just note, it is a little pricey. We hadabout 22 pieces for roughly $150, not including drinks. Read more
High end sushi restaurant, specialty is the omakase sushi and sashimi, which is the chef's selection of specialty sushi. They... also have more standard sushi and rolls. The space is very small so reservations are suggested. The sushi bar is upstairs andthey don't take reservations for that. Read more
