Sushi Yasaka is the spot to go when you want really high quality sushi for a reasonable price. They provide such fresh sushi... that is absolutely incredible. We got a few rolls, but the real standout was their sweet potato tempura roll. The sweet potatois cooked beautifully and lightly batter and fried to allow for an excellent crunch in the roll. I also really appreciate thatthey give you actually fresh ginger and wasabi, not the stuff you get from packets at most sushi restaurants. The ambience isalso great here - chill vibe to hang out and socialize without feeling overwhelmed. Very niche space with magnificent maki rolls. Even though we were walk ins we were seated immediately and served promptly. The... staff were very kind and engaging. Our food came out correctly and almost immediately. The ambiance made for intimateconversation with the venue still respecting covid mandates it feel as though your in a booth with your significant other whilebeing served lovely sushi ????. I love this place! The sushi is so fresh and always delicious. I’ve been here numerous times and I’ll definitely keep going.... I wanted to give this place 5 stars, but I thought it was really odd to have iceberg lettuce in sushi.
