First time coming here was 2014 and it’s long been my fav place in Ktown. It is Korean restaurant but most of menus aren’t... really in very traditional way. It’s more closer to comfort food version of Korean cuisine with some interesting ideas, so itworks very well for those occassions where you want to casually enjoy some good foods and drinks at the same time. I reallywant to recommend Chestnut Makeoli because it provides good smooth introduction of what Korean rice wine can be. I would alsostrongly recommend Korean egg roll, which is very different from usual American Chinese menu, but do avoid it if you haveserious hatred towards seafood because the egg roll has marinated fish egg inside it. That’s the beauty of their egg roll inmy opinion though. Friday and weekends can be brutal for waiting line, but fortunately they started to take reservationrequests post covid. 2014??? ?? ?? ?? ???(?)???. ????? ???? ???? ???. ???? ??? ???? ?? ?????? ??? ??? ??? ??? ?? ?????? ?????. Bacon rose cream pasta is was good pasta. nothing wrong with it, but it wasn't amazing. I personally wasn't too impressed by... this dish. This dish came out really crisp and hot that made it delicious!! I think the first few bites taste amazing, and thenyou get tired of the taste quick. It's also very sweet. But regardless, it was a solid dish. Read more

Pretty sure everyone around me has heard how much I love this place! The food never misses!!! The Mentaiko udon is my absolute... favorite and I have to get it every time! I recommend making a reservation since the place gets really busy! The food comes outquickly and they don’t course it. Service is normally attentive and the hosts are always super nice. If you’re in the city, this is a must have! The vibe is loud and fun. Definitely worth checking out! Read more

I loved this meal! Came here in early 2021 and was pleasantly surprised. The pork wirh the white kimchi was absolutely delicious... and I came back the next day to get it again. The decor is comfy and the little theme was cute. I enjoy this place and wouldcome again!! Read more

Spam & Mayo Rice Ball - 6/10 I was disappointed that the mayo was not kewpie mayo and the rice ball had such an overwhelming... sesame oil flavor. I wish they were more creative with this dish. Bacon Rose Cream Pasta - 6/10 Honestly this tasted likeregular spaghetti in marinara sauce. Pretty disappointed in this dish as I couldn’t really detect the rose cream. Crispy CornPancake - 7/10 This was the last dish to come out which was kind of confusing cause it seems to be the easiest to make. It wasgood but nothing that blew me away. Buttered Squid Fried Rice - 7/10 The squid was quite strange - it tasted like the peelapart asian squid snacks. This was the best entree of the night but I left the restaurant feeling unsatisfied. I’m not sureif I just did not order the right things but Take 31 was overall pretty disappointing. The drinks were much better than thefood. The food wasn’t bad but for the price they were charging it just doesn’t seem justifiable. Read more

Very delicious Korean restaurant near the K-town in Manhattan. I really loved the injeolmi pork belly and other foods were great... as well. I don’t drink but they also have good raw rice wine. I could see most people drank a lot!!???????????????? Read more

Fantastic meal! We had reservations for 5:30 on a Saturday evening when they first opened and was definitely a good idea as... there was already a line generating outside the restaurant. You get to order your meal from am order card (which makes thingsmuch easier!). We had the Crispy Corn Pancake, Cod Roe Seafood Udon, and the Korean Army Soup. The first two were probably ourfavorites, though we also enjoyed the Korean Army Soup. The food came very quickly, and we were actually done with our meal inabout 45 minutes. Highly recommend this restaurant, you won't regret it! Read more

Overall the experience was perfect, friendly staff, nice atmosphere and good food. I think my expectation was just high when... talking about Korean food, and like many reviews here mentioned, their dishes are on the sweet side. It’s worth to visit oncebut for a second time, it depends on preference. Every dishes we ordered were delicious but not that impressive. However myfirst pick is the ?cod roe udon! Their ????army soup also has more ingredients compared to other places. Read more
