We were craving for Japanese cuisine when we were in the big city. We found this restaurant. It was small but typical New York... City space. Food was mediocre. Stopped by here for dinner during my short 2 night stay in NYC. My hotel was walking distance so it was perfect. From the... excellent service, to the host/waitress (she was running double duty and was still able to check in on all her guests frequentlyenough without being pushy) I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this restaurant. The sushi was delicious. I had the BlueHawaiian I think it was called which was that day's special and the NY roll (obvious reason why the latter). I ended up alsotrying the Tempura Cheesecake ????????????. Sake recommendations was awesome, the best I ever had. Reasonable prices and nicedecor. Will be back when I'm town. Highly recommended. What a gem! Husband really wanted sushi and I didn't, but we both love Japanese/Chinese food. You are greeted with wet towels to... wash you hands off before you eat, menu is extensive with great prices, good was phenomenal and came out fast, sake selection isamazing and very well priced, and then you are given a plate of honeydew to finish off your meal. Someone commented that theseats are torn, and they are, but the food and service compensate for it. Read more
