The staff was amazing. We arrived early for our reservation but they still accommodated us. The waiter suggested several meals... for us since this was our first time visiting the restaurant, and me being very picky. The food was as good as the service wereceived. I got the eggplant, calamari and pasta with squid ink? Everything was really good especially the eggplant!!! I’m not... vegetarian but I could convert if it meant eating this everyday. The cocktails were very good and overall ambience was vibrant,busy and just that upper West side ambience of class and NYC nightlife. Definitely recommend. Would only go back for specialoccasions though as it is on the higher price range but definitely a go to spot! Read more
Their brunch food is very consistent and good. Their Smith Burger, Mac and cheese, the blueberry pancakes are ????. Highly... recommend it. Service can be a little slow but it's in a popular location... What can you do? Read more
Staff was great. Good vibe. Food was pretty good, gnocchi 7/10, burger 6/10. Flavor and composition could have been better, but... quality of food ingredients, and the presentation were good. I didn't have the penne vodka myself, so no comment there. Notphotographed: the homemade cookies and ice cream - cookies were 9/10, I'd go back just for them. Ice cream was plain and good, a7/10. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, efficient and quick service. We shared the Citrus/Goat Cheese salad, very tasty. Each of us had... Shrimp & Grits’s, a delightful dish. The Smith had served some of the best breakfast that I’ve ever had! The food from top to bottom was just the absolute beat! I... had the famous cinnamon pancakes with pecans that were just so good! Buttermilk with rich flavors was really delicious. Then youcan’t go wrong with some eggs and their chicken sausage which was so good as well and the home fries! This is one of the bestspots in New York when you’re looking for a place to dine and and relax to enjoy breakfast. Customer service is wonderful andthe atmosphere inside is very calming and relaxed. Make sure to get a reservation. All of the stuff we ordered were really good. Especially the apple cider pancakes. No syrup. All... the caramel was just right for it. Has 5 layers of fluffy pancakes. You have to try it. ???????? I think it’s an awesomeplace to take friends who visit you from out of state. (I’m always on the lookout for these type of places. Very nicedecorations overall. I enjoyed the salad. It had a good contrast of textures. The chicken has a nice crispy skin and it was served with a creamy... mashed potato. However, the sauce didn’t go well with the chicken. It had good color and consistency, but had an unpleasantbitter aftertaste. Maybe I should have just ordered the burger. Overall, it was overrated.
