Busy, friendly place that looks like they have a regular following - judging by the many warm greetings and hugs with the... manager (or owner). Service was good. Food was delicious, especially the sweet plantain side. Read more
I thought I give this place a second chance but its still way too expensive for the portions. The worse sweet Maduro ( fried... bananas) $10 I’ve ever had and I’ve had the best, so dark and unpleasant presentation who knows how long the frying oil wasin that bucket. I also had Camarones Toloache $35.00 swimming in liquid see the photo) this dish is roasted garlic Shrimp withcrispy tortilla, black beans, ( maybe a pinch of beans) Totally a disaster. I wouldn’t never order from there again the pricesare astronomical for the portions. Delivery food from them doesn’t arrive properly it gets mushy if something supposed to becrispy. I don’t recommend delivery. They should adjust their prices according to portions. Went here for date night and had an incredible time!! Hostess/Manager was so sweet and welcoming. Drinks were delicious. Our... server Eli was knowledgeable about the menu and took the time to explain his recommendations to us. He was great! The food wasdelicious - I was so so full from eating so much! The atmosphere was so welcoming (and yes they do check vaccination cards :) !!), the service was incredible, and the food was... absolutely divine!! I asked for a light margarita and they were kind enough to actually oblige. Presentation was on point andoverall a wonderful experience. Read more
