Torch & Crown was an oasis for us as we walked around the area in the hot summer heat. AC was cranked up high, seating... plentiful, and service congenial the entire time. In terms of beer, everything we had was tasty, however the cocktail we triedwas okay at best. Would certainly come back next time I'm in the area. Read more
Decent beer and selection but not a very beer focused brewery, though I guess that does mean there are options for the non beer... lovers as well including slushie drinks, cocktails, etc. Overall good service and a nice big space. I didn't eat here but heardthe burgers are worth a try. Not really my thing but I enjoyed my time either way. Read more
Had a good time at Torch and Crown while visiting on an early Saturday afternoon. The place was pretty empty for our 1pm... reservations, though I am sure it picks up as the day goes on. Lots of seating around with longer style barstool-height seatsand tables throughout the space. They do have an open bar with hard liquor as well. We ordered a few beers ($8-10 each), twoflights ($20 each) and some shareable foods ($15-25 each). These prices more-or-less on par with the Manhattan prices. Beer wasvery good; fresh and not flat. Lots of interesting beer options...definitely something there for every beer lover. The food wasgood...I would say above average. There is breweing equipment downstairs as well as some additional seating. That may be forwhen it gets crowded upstairs. There is also an "outdoor" tented section as well as an outdoor sidewalk area. I can easily seethis place getting busy on a nice summer evening. All areas were very neat with nice decor. All servers/employees weencountered during our visit were very nice. service all around was great. There is a small "take-out" window area where youcan buy beer packs (4/12/36) to go. Winter Bear and I came here for a catch up meal. The restaurant was empty but, gradually increased as the day progressed. To... start, we ordered a cheese board for $19 and felt like it was a bit sparse. I felt like it was three tiny piece of cheese withalmost no accompaniments. We also ordered meatballs for $14 and, WB loved them but, agreed that they were not worth the price.The pretzel ($7) was delicious especially with the IPA mustard. WB ordered the Caesar Salad ($17) and thought it was okay. Theymentioned that the salad had too much cheese and not enough vegetables. I didn't care for the fried chicken sandwich because itwas made with chicken thigh. I had asked and was told it was chicken breast. The sandwich was a bit chewier than I would haveliked. We got the cookies for dessert and thought they were delicious. I didn't like that they charged for hot sauce and IPAmustard and they didn't tell us until we saw the bill. I feel that most of the time condiments are free and if they aren't, itshould be disclosed or written on the menu. Their beers are very flavorful and diverse. The staff was incredibly efficient. You have to defend your plate at times but I... appreciated it. Wings, deviled eggs were very good. Wings did not have your typical Buffalo sauce vibe. Very good. Absolutelyrecommend. Read more

The service was excellent and staff were incredibly kind. It was our first time here so we all got beer flights to try things... out - the Get to Know Us & Get Funky. The beer here is delicious! To snack, we got the soft pretzels (incredibly warm) & crispycauliflower (big hit with the table). The AC was refreshing and perfect to cool us down!
