Local vibes. Good pan fried and boiled dumplings. We got their pork and chive pan fried dumpling and their shrimp boiled... dumplings and added the spicy chili oil, garlic, cilantro and scallions. Both dumplings were really good especially the boileddumplings cause the dumpling dough is thinner. Their kimchee sesame pancake sandwich is not recommended. The stuffing is verysparse and tasteless. They accept cash and credit card but you have to spend over $16 or so to use your card. You wait untilthey call your number and seats are limited. Read more
Was pleasantly surprised trying this place! We got the vegetarian dumplings and the spicy vegan beef dumplings. Both were great!... Not too pricy either. We paid 18$ for both. Read more
One weekend I was able to hit a number of different dumpling houses in the surrounding area and found Vanessa’s Dumpling House... on my map. The restaurant is much bigger than most in the area and has larger tables if you have a bigger party with you. I camewith a guest and ordered the Mango Green tea, Scallion Pancake sandwich with egg and steamed pork/chive dumplings. The sandwichwas good, dough was crispy and fluffy on the inside but the dumplings were very heavy. The wrapper used is thicker on averagewhich got us pretty full after eating 3 so an order of 10 split between two people will fill you right up. Dumpling and sesame pancake sandwich joint. The dumplings I had, which were pork buns weren't as nice, they weren't as flavorful... as I expected. I tried the pork sesame pancake with cilantro and it was super good. I really recommend them. I hope their otherdumplings are good, but I do trust it. All was very good. Read more
Super tiny spot enough for a few tables, cash only. Always packed and for a good reason! The food there is very reasonably... priced. I always get the dumplings and the Peking Duck Pancake Sandwich was great as well. You can definitely walk out full forunder $10. Read more
The only reason I am giving this place four stars instead of five is based on the prices. They are priced kind of high and they... give you a smaller portion than other surrounding areas. The dumplings were very good and the food was ready quickly. Theseating inside the restaurant is cramped and most people share tables. Read more
I love dumplings and this is my go to since It was a hole in the wall. It isn’t the same anymore. You don’t get served fresh... food. What makes it worse is that it’s over priced as well. I got the pork and chives dumpling. It was served cold. I askedto warm it up in the stove and they microwaved it and warped the plastic container… I don’t want to eat toxic plastic.Dumpling wrapper was very doughy like uncooked. Vegan beef dumpling is a new menu item. 10$ for 8 is pricey for mediocredumplings. Not sure if just this place or all of Vanessa chains, but they could do better. I’ve had better. Read more
Yums! I love Vanessa’s. Filling, delicious and affordable. Their beef noodle soup and Peking duck sesame pancakes are my... favorite. Limited seating but a lot of people come here for takeout and not dining. Their fried dumplings are tasty as well.Only complaint is that they should clean their tables more often in between customers, since the tables are dirty sometimes. Read more
