We found this restaurant online based on the ratings we got on google maps. We order fries and Calamari for appetizer and... Chicken and a pasta for main dish. The appetizers were good and it tasted fantastic. However, we did not like our main dish. Thedish did mot have any salt and the taste was a little bit weird. Came here on a Saturday evening. We sat outside since it was so warm out. Outstanding hospitality!!! Tom was extremely helpful... as our server was so busy for a private event inside. I wanted to really like this place. We ordered 3 appetizers and they were just okay. All had the same dipping sauce (that was... disappointing) and were bland. Our main dishes looked better than they tasted. But what really has made it so that we neverreturn is witnessing one of the cooks pick up a piece of fish or meat off the kitchen floor and plate it. Went in for the linguine, it was very salty and the sauce tasted like the red sauce from a can of spaghetti. I was so... disappointed. The pear Margarita was ok. It took me a while to get to this neighborhood spot I've been meaning to try but I FINALLY made it. Brunch come with a... complimentary coffee, tea, Bloody Mary, or in my case a mimosa. The Panacotta Benedict was good as was the olive oil cake I hadfor dessert. Always a good idea to support one's local businesses. Read more
I'm astonished that it has been so long since I've dined @ Vinatería and embarrassed that I have never penned a review... Both... of those realization must now be extinguished. Last Thursday my office hosted a work soirée hosted @ Vinatería and it waswonderful. There was an array of tapas and small plates and they were all delicious. A few of my favs were the polenta fries,the white fish balls and the calamari. Another audience favorite were the veal meatballs, which had a hint of spice. We allenjoyed the endless flow of vino. The staff was gracious and efficient as they balanced their evening crowd along with theboisterous group of RE agents. Happy I have been reintroduced to this local gem.
