Phuket style Thai restaurant with cool bar. Went for dinner. Shared appetizers, our favorite was the short rib, meat was so... soft. The curry dim sum was okay. For entrees we had the veggie soup and the duck noodle soup. The duck was very flavorful butduck meat was very fatty and had nerves. Ambience was relaxed, great place for group dinners or a drink at the bar. Prices arehigh. Read more

We had such an amazing meal here. The stir fried duck vermicelli was so flavorful and delicious. The crab cakes had a healthy... serving of actual crab inside instead of just breading. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming. I’m definitely comingback! Read more

My favorite from this visit at @wanwan.nyc was definitely the crab cakes! They were super rich with the curry flavor, and... brought me memories of my vacations in Thailand?? I personally liked it more straight up, but it was also really good with thepineapple sauce! A little bummed that the pot pie was sold out (at 1pm lol) so we didn’t get to try it, because the pictureslooked good~ Read more

Delicious food, friendly service. Was excited to try this place since I love Wayla. Very interesting menu, and the staff was... happy to answer questions about the food patiently. I had the bamee noodles with pork and the shrimp tempura appetizer and bothwere delicious. The interior is modern with clean lines and comfortable. Will come again. Read more

Delicious!! They don’t have their liquor license yet but the mock tails/refreshments were really tasty and beautiful!! We... ordered 4 small plates: fried pork belly, short rib, crab cake, and fried scallops. All were good but the crab cake and scallopwere probably the best. We also shared 3 noodle dishes for 4 people: coconut curry, branzino, and beef. The curry was reallyrich and flavorful and the noodles it comes with are really thin and delicate, which balanced out the heaviness of the curry. The broth for the other two were really good, though I think the beef was my favorite. Would recommend using their house chilioil, super tasty! Read more

We were fans of Wayla so we were excited to hear they opened up a new sister restaurant Wan Wan in Soho with flavors from... Phuket.\n\nThey don’t have alcohol license yet but we love their refreshing mocktail selections very much. Our favorite wasthe WAN WANZAKI, which looked very eye-catching and the taste was balanced between sweet & sour.\n\nWe visited as a large groupso we ordered one of each dish from their brunch menu. The food was overall decent from appetizers to entrees, especially thecrispy Hor Mok Crab Cake and creamy Namya Pauu. There was only one dish we won’t recommend, which was the breakfast plattersince it looked and tasted just okay. Read more

We finally got a chance to try Wan Wan after hearing about it from friends and we\'re so glad we did. The dishes were fantastic!... The starters are definitely a must try, we got the fried pork belly and the crispy tofu. The pork belly was really good on itsown but the dipping sauce put it over the top. The tofu had a crispy, chewy, mochi-like texture on the outside and was soft onthe inside.\n\nThe duck salad was genius. Admittedly the first time I\'ve had kale chips in a salad but it complemented thesalad really well with a nice crunch. The dressing was not too tangy, with a little sweet from the apples in the salad.\n\nItried the wagyu beef noodles, which they pour the broth in table side so it\'s not overcooked. The beef was really reallytender, even after leaving it in the broth for a while. One inconvenience we felt was the beef slices were a bit too large so itwas difficult to share. The noodles were great, not too soft or too chewy, and the broth was very hearty, reminded me ofMalaysian bak kut teh. My wife ordered the duck noodles, also very good but we both agreed the beef was one of the best beefnoodles we\'ve had.\n\nWe had the coconut pandan for dessert. Initially we had one to share and after my wife tried a bite shetook the whole dish so we had to order a separate one for me. This dish is the best reason to always leave room fordessert.\n\nIf you haven\'t tried Wan Wan yet, please try it. You will not be disappointed! Read more
